I did it yesterday! Survived, though I was sure wiped by the time I was done. Did lvl 1 for both workouts. I *may* do 6W6P MWF... will see how I'm feeling tomorrow. Felt great to accomplish both, though!

Thank you SO much, blacKandi!! That helps a great deal. Since it's Monday, I'll think I'll start this new routine today!

If you're only doing 6w6p then it will make sense to do it more times a week. But when you add in 30DS that should change. There is a lot of core work already in 30DS; no worries. So, a sample beginner rotation would look like this...

M - 30DS (choose 1 level - any) + 6w 6p (choose 1 level - any)
Tu - 30DS (choose 1 level - any)
W - 30DS (choose 1 level - any)
Th - 30DS (choose 1 level - any) + 6w6p (choose 1 level - any)
F - 30DS (choose 1 level - any)
Sa - off
Su - off

Still a beginner. Just to make sure I follow... I'd workout every day of the week - 5 doing 30DS and 2 doing 6W6P lvl 1, correct? Didn't realize that core specific was effective if only done twice, especially since she says to get results, do it 5 days a week. Concerned about weekends, though, as with 3 kids, I never know what the days will bring! Maybe do lvl 1 30DS 5 days a week and 2 of those days do lvl 1 6W6P, too?

Things to ponder...

You can rotate however you like. But just add what I would do is...two days of one level of 6 week 6 pack and 5 days of one level of 30DS if I were a beginner. Not a beginner I'd do two levels of 30DS 5 days a week and one level of six week 6 pack two times a week. Core specific workout is effective at two days a week.

Hey all! Originally, I had bought 6W6P - this week is the start of week 4. This past Friday was my last day of week 3 and the first time I tried lvl 2 (and almost cried! emoticon LOL) Last week, I bought 30DS and instead of doing 5 days of 6W6P like the previous 2 weeks, I did 3 days of it and 2 of 30DS.

But I'm wondering... Should I try to do both every day? Or maybe do my 6W6P all 5 days and do 30DS MWF, too? Rotate them every other day?

I'm starting to see results with 6W6P - no weight loss, but I didn't have a lot of weight to lose. Just the mommy pooch that I got from 3 kids. :) I'm starting to see a little definition and I'm definitely feeling the muscles are stronger.

With 30DS, do I need to do it every day - is that the idea, 30 days in a row?

Thanks for any help/encouragement. I am LOVING these work outs - I think I needed someone tough like Jillian to kick my booty into gear and get me doing instead of sitting.

emoticon
