I hope to meet my goal. I set it high so that I can truly be accountable for everything that goes in my mouth and stay consistent in my P90X workout, by the end of the month I should be entering Phase 3 of the program. In addition, I signed up for the October Virtual 5k Walk/Run Challenge so I do plan on getting out and running - although I hate running in cold weather. But I will do my best and train.

My year end goal is to be at my healthy weight range 130-145 and maintain it.

Welcome to the **October** Challenge!

If youve participated before (July Fireworks Challenge), welcome back for another month! To all those who have not done this challenge (or any other) welcome aboard newcomers!

The challenge is pretty easy & does NOT require a long-term commitment. You pick a goal weight, and post your progress each week. You are NOT in competition with the other challengersin fact, you are encouraged to cheer each other on.

This is about having a reason to stay motivated throughout the months weight loss journey and having a place to post your progress to help you stay on track--some "extra" accountability for your actions because you know you aren't the only one who will "see" the results.

We'll have 5 weekly weigh-ins in October plus the start. Our weekly weigh-in dates are October 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 for final weigh in.
