Small victories are major in this journey - and it is very important to remember to do what you CAN, which makes all the difference. Congratulations!

Hi, I decided to share my blog today with you. Here it is:
Today I celebrate small victories. Yesterday was going to be my “rest and regroup” day. My feet hurt, I needed a break. Then I remembered my “20 minute a day” WiiFit Challenge and decided, “OK, I’ll do 20 minutes. My feet can handle 20 minutes.”
WiiFit keeps track of the number of days you’ve used it, yesterday was day 792 for me. In the 3 years since I purchased it I’ve used it a lot. Every 2 weeks I set the same goal, “Lose 2 pounds in 2 weeks.” Every 2 weeks I fail. I don’t give up easily. Yesterday, for the first time in 792 days I got the elusive reward of, “Congratulations, you met your goal!” I don’t know what I expected, confetti falling from the ceiling maybe? Clapping? Drum Roll? I guess self-satisfaction will have to do. Hopefully it won’t take another 792 days to lose another 2 pounds!
Also, my bike mirror arrived and my husband, Rod installed it for me while I was busy on my Wii. We went for a bicycle ride, only 15 minutes (my feet were hurting pretty badly at that point), but when I entered it on my Fitness Tracker I was amazed at how many calories bicycle riding burns. Now, if I can just get a little steadier so I don’t fall off……
