I got one of the rubber covers for my board, I love it. Softens the hard plastic just enough :)

I imagine it's not something your podiatrist would approve of though, since it doesn't offer support :(

I think I must just be uncoordinated. When I look down I miss something important happening on the screen and do something like ride off a cliff on my bicycle or miss hitting the controllers falling from the sky in Rhythm Parade. I gave up today and put my slippers back on, it went much better.

Welcome to the group. I live in Florida and usually am barefoot when I use my board. I have used my tennis shoes and understand your problems about feeling the board. When I do use my shoes, I look down regularly.

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this group but not to using my WiiFit, I think I'm on day 789 or something like that. What shoes do you wear while using it? When I first started I tried barefoot but gave up because the texture of the board hurt my feet. I started wearing some ballet shoe style slippers with leather soles and they worked well until I developed a foot problem. The foot doctor told me I needed to wear athletic shoes when doing any type of exercise, even WiiFit, so that's what I've been doing. Now I have trouble because I can't feel the board well enough to tell if I'm on the rectangles, or about to fall off the board. I especially have the problem when I do Rhythm Parade - I march right off the board!
