I am not left-handed but my son is and yes it is irritating. I heard that Wii is making Wii II(2) but it will not be out for a couple of years but I think you guys should let them know because they want to improve the gaming system. That would be a big improvement for many of my left-handed family and friends.

Absolutely! It's been a frustration for a long time, though, so I kind of just expect it from most games. I do wish there were options to tell it that I'm left-handed and have it modify some of the activities for it. Drives me crazy having to switch hands all the times with the remote!

So... Any other left handed people find it irritating that you can't pick a lefty option in some games?
I know it's not a huge deal, but still kind of annoying. I use my left hand to hold the remote and make selections then with things like Rhythm Kung Fu or anything involving steering/tilting I have to remove the strap and switch hands.
There's a sports game we have too where there is no left handed option at all so I don't even play the game because it doesn't work right.
