I had the same problem with the free step on Wii Fit Plus. The solution is to not hold the wii remote in your hand where it can connect to the sensor bar. Once I started tucking it into the back of my workout pants it stopped messing up the wii balance board.

I really just figured it out on accident. My hands were getting sweaty so I tucked it in my pants and all of a sudden the wii board worked fine. I've been doing it that way ever since and have not had a single issue with my wii board.

Hope this helps!

I had a terrible time with my board a couple of weeks ago... I was hitting the reset button when wii fit was not turned on, and it doesn't do anything. Finally the little red reset button worked when the wii fit was on and It re-synced everything and things have been fine after that. But I was about ready to smash the thing before that. I feel your pain!

I think I'll just have to call nintendo, see if they'll replace it and if not, save up for a new board...syncing doesn't seem to be the issue.thanks for all your help though.

how long have you had the wii? check to see if you have passed the warranty cut off date. if so, you may just have to get a new board. contact nintendo before you do that, though. they may replace for free.

Hi! Try this.........
Steps:

1. You need to make sure game is in first.

2. Push power than blue light will blink.

3. After the light finishes blinking and still does not turn on then do the sync procedure.

4. Open the battery side and push the red sync button then quickly push the sync button on the wii and wait for it to blink and light should be on

Hope this helps!

I have wii fit and wii active and lately have been experiencing a lot of problems with my wii board. I'll turn it on and start the exercise I want and a few minutes it, it shuts off. I've changed the batteries, used it while plugged into the wii using the rechargeable batteries etc. Has anyone had this problem? How did you fix it?
