My Mother-in and -Law was like that and sadly her family got annoyed with her and that made her not only sad but afraid. As I lived close by I was there every day and she would ask the same things over and over again. Eventually she could not recall who people were even her Husband, she would say 'I don't know who he is but he is here every day I rather fancy him'
She had a thing about counting things so sometimes I would give her things to count as she watched me prepare a meal.
When she was in hospital towards the end and she could not recall anyone at all I would hold her hand and let her talk, at the very end she was unable to speak at all but I sat there just the same holding her hand and talking to her, she would smile at me and I knew she had no clue as to who I was, but I knew who she was.
All she needed was love and when you love someone and realise they cannot help what is happening to them patience is easy to find even if you do feel a little frustrated at times.
I posted the video on my Facebook page everyone should see this it is a powerful message.
