finally got bloodwork from new dr... I am happy and surprised it was as good as it was :0)
the neuropathy pain is chronic - but it was so bad.. better wens and yesterday that I could at least move - I went to sewing meet yesterday and only 6,000 steps and my feet and legs were hurting again - so I put on pain pads and put my feet up as much as I could ..

I really didn't make a resolution. What I am doing is making a lifestyle change and not
a "diet" like most people think.

thanks - but it is not my knees it is neuropathy chronic pain in feet up to thighs - and I can't take narcotics or insaids for the pain - when I do more walking - over 5,000 steps the pain gets unbearable - have 4 pain pads on and rubbed a little veltrain ( can only do a drop).. still in pain this morning - up and down all night ... horrible

SpiritSeeker2 ...Take care to not overdo at least until your knees are less painful. SP has many videos of exercise movements for beginner to advanced runner types. Try a few of them to see if you can find a way to get your steps in without ruining your joints. It's so easy to push ourselves to the brink ... who isn't in a hurry to recreate their body! BUT everything good comes with attitude, time, work AND patience. We're all in this together.

not doing anything - got in over 9,000 steps for 3 days in a row and legs and feet still hurt - neuropathy pain.. my knee is in pain and kept giving out - got a brace .. do have arthritis but this is a different pain.. gaining so much so fast is the problem I am sure -

I resolved to drink my 2 litres of water a day, which I've been drinking around 12 cups even before it's noon and it's been really transformative for me. Has gone a long way to helping me lose weight easier, make better choices in my diet, and generally feeling more energetic and healthier. I have also been making an effort to be more mindful and I am also meditating more often and doing more yoga!

What are your resolutions this year and how are they going?

I resolved to make healthy choices everyday. So far, well, I could improve but I am not doing too bad. I have been doing great at keeping up with doing some form of exercise each day. My diet is where I need to start making better choices.

I also resolved to meditate often. I suppose I am doing it often but I hope to get to the point where I am doing it first thing every morning. Right now it is difficult to get alone time because my husband is home from school until next week.

hello.
My day is going well. It is time to get off of work, finish up another job in about an hour and then off to the house to see what is for dinner.

Tonight is Thursday so I allow myself an hour or so to watch TV each night so I watch Project Runway tonight this is the season of All Stars so we will see who goes home tonight. I will also catch up on my recording of Best Ink while I cook dinner. Then at 10-1015 it time to hit the bed.

How is everyone today? What do you have planned for today?

A day of decluttering and tidying for me, My hubbie has suggested we go and buy me a bike so we can go out on family bike rides, I like the idea of it but haven't ridden a bike since I was about 16!!!! Do I still know what to do? LOL emoticon

Newbie here just dropping in to say I am here. Learning about the site and tracking my food today. I am about to cook my children an early dinner as we are off to a roller disco later. I am not eating til later so it is going to be really hard not to pick at their dinners!!

This is the first day this month that I did not even get 5 minutes in. I am feeling very sick and have a migraine again. I have been sick more this month than I have in a few years.
