I switched to non dairy cheeses and milk. Unsweetened Almond Milk is really not bad, and I can drink a whole glass without any backlash from my stomach. Perhaps trying non dairy cheeses will help, otherwise portion control will definitely help!
Another trick I learned, drink a whole glass of water about 30 minutes before eating. I don't know WHY this helps, but it most certainly does. I have found that room temperature water works better for me than cold water, but you can try both.
I also switched to non dairy ice cream. It's funny that my family kids me about not eating dairy, but they'll gobble up my mini ice cream sandwiches like there's no tomorrow (and leave THEIR ice cream in the freezer!).
I decided to use this time to try new things, it's an adventure. It makes new dishes fun. I've found a dish with rice, quinoa (which is a grain that has a complete protein, and is gluten free) and kale. It's absolutely yummy, especially with some spices thrown in!
Google calendar absolutely works for me, it comes with the gmail account, no charge for it, and I can set it up any way I want it. I ALSO print each month out, so I can SEE what I have to do each day at a glance. I love it!
