HI team. No exercise for me today. My feet are a little sore. Huh. Anyway, I have signed up for a race series. There are 6 races over the next 6 months, one a month. The longest is a 5K. This Saturday night is the first one, just 2 miles. It will be hot but I am excited:). This first race is followed by an ice cream sundae "bar". OK, maybe it was the ice cream that enticed me.....

Kirsten, my snorkel has a one way valve so water cannot get into my mouth. Phew. I do go totally under water with it in my mouth at times. Today, off to the gym. Yesterday a dreadmill run that wasn't too bad.
More later team!

how the HECK is it August already? This summer is flying by!

Doris, if it's only 2 days, do you really call it a 'season?' lol! I've never been snorkeling. I've always wondered how hard it is to keep that tube thingy free of water. It looks so... drowny!

I've been running and swimming and sloooowly starting to see some results on the scale. I'm going to switch BLC teams this round and see if a new tracker and new accountability makes any difference. I'm starting to look at cortisol/stress as a factor in my pain and weight management. Very interesting stuff!

HI team. Made an interesting discovery last week: it is MUCH harder for me to snorkel for 30 minutes than it is for me to run for 30 minutes. Who knew?!?!?! I went snorkeling for lobsters during the mini season Florida has in July. It lasts for two days and I snorkels both days. I did not catch any lobster. Good thing the grocery store has a nice selection! Anyway, all is fine here. Like Bobby, i wish weight was as easy to take off as it is to put on. Sigh.

Good morning lovely bright day here. Is suppose to get very hot and humid again this week. Not much for exercise. My daily walks with my son last about 4 days. He bought a thing to hold his phone on his bike and then poof no more pokemon go for him. I hope everyone else is having a nice lovely exercise filled summer.

Good evening. No new washer yet. Old one still chugging along just have to remember to be there when the cycle ends. Hubby wants to wait a bit before we get a new one. Maybe we will get 23 years out of it. LOL!!!

Hey everyone!

Another weekend and the ball diamond is in the books. Monkey's team made provincials, so he will be playing another tourney in 1.5 weeks on Vancouver Island...

Sis, yeah, torn labrum...it was partially torn about 4 years ago, but they opted for no surgery. Now the tear has gotten larger, so just waiting for the final verdict on whether we are just going to deal with it, or are going to finally get it fixed.

Will check back tomorrow...so tired...zzzzz:-)

Oh yes, Nera, you will LOVE having a front loader...I know I did:-)

Kirsten, give your DD a squeeze from us...happy birthday to her:-)

Hugs,
Trish

Wow, Nera, that's a good run you got on the old machine. We have a Samsung set (front-loader, stacked dryer) that we're very happy with, but like Doris said, it also depends on where you get it. It depends on which factory made the machine whether you are at risk for certain defects. Too much for me to keep track of!

All I have to say is, you will likely see a savings on your energy bill with a new machine!

Good luck. Hope you're having a great weekend. I'm off for one WHOLE day and I'm enjoying my DD's 13th birthday.

Neraus: I never understood the argument the salesman would give about buying them as a set. They seemed to say if you buy a separate washer, it will overtax the dryer or some such thing. Never made any sense to me. We ignored them. I think we were replacing our dryer at the time.

Nera, my washing machine advice would be to get a Maytag. Do not get one at Home Depot or Lowes as they are a different quality machine. My folks got a Maytag washer and dryer about 15 years ago when theirs finally quit (30ish years old). My brother bought the same model machines at Home Depot about the same time as my parents. Brother had to replace his about 5 years ago. My Mom's are still going strong.
It is hot here today. Too hot to want to be outside! Sheesh

We have been looking at washing machines. I found a place that fixes old ones but they are unable to get the timer for my machine anymore. I did find out my washing machine was built in November 1975. I thought it was older but still it ran for quite awhile. Which makes buying a new one hard since the salesman tells you right up front you won't get 22 years out of these machines. It will be more like 7 or if you buy this one you might get 15 years. I have to spend $500 to a $1000 to get a machine that will last half the time my old one did. Wonderful. They are trying real hard to make us buy a set but my dryer still works so it stays. In our research to look at machines we found a Samsung one that has blown up during the wash cycle. Five different families with different Samsung washers and they just went kabloey. So no Samsung machines for us. LOL!!!

I know we are suppose to be able to keep our phone number but this yahoo cable company keep telling us the can't port it over. It would help if we were calling a help line that was in the US but it is obvious that we are talking to someone in a different continent. We have been told thursday then can get it done but we have heard that before.

We are also starting to look for a new washer. The one we have we bought when we moved in 22 years ago. It works but the timer doesn't stop it between cycles so if you aren't there when it finishes it will move on to the next cycle on the dial. I would fix it if we could but it is from the late 60's and I have been told it would be impossible to find parts for it. Hard to buy one since the last one lasted so long and you feel like the new ones aren't made as well.
The salesman asked if we wanted to get a set. I said no my harvest gold Lady Kenmore from the 70's works just fine thank you so much. LOL!!!!

It does look like there are crazy number of people there at the stampede. that would be a drawback to going as I can do crowds but not for a long period of time.

We switched cable providers and phone service. We are having trouble getting the phone moved over. The hubby has been on the phone for over an hour tonight. They keep telling us different things when we call. All we want is to keep the home number we have had for 22 years. Now I know how some of the customers that call and complain at my work feel. You just want an answer instead of endless transfers to different departments.

Near, you just need to call the town office where you were born and find out how much to send them for a certified copy of your birth certificate. No need to travel to them.

I have been watching the Calgary Stampede online. Last coupe of days have been very wet and cowboys are getting face full of mud when they get bucked off. Seems like a very big deal so the hubby said we should think about going to check it out. So this fall I think I am going to get a passport so I can go places outside the US if something turns up. I think I have to request a certified birth certificate because I don't have one. The only issue is if I can do it here where I live or if I have to travel to the county I was born in. Same state just I was born about 2+ hours from where I live now.

Finally did my first run in quite awhile. Did not do as long as I was doing, but okay for getting back into it. But I hope I can make it a habit of at least twice a week run walk intervals.

Here is my month from mid June to now with that job hunt thing... and so far no yeses. Can get rather depressing.

Pokemongo is a new app for smart phones that allow people to "catch" pokemon in the real world. I don't play but I just walk along with my son while he does. At the moment it is quite the phenomnon. My son has been way more active then he usually is. I am just glad to have some company on my walks which makes it more likely that I will walk.

Golly, a fracture? yikes! What's going on? Are we getting old??? Take it easy my friend, and heal.

Doris, fingers and toes crossed. What kind of work does hubby do? And yeah, ileostomy is about my worst nightmare. I've now finished the first round of antibiotics and the bout has returned. So, I'm back on strained juice today, which I will likely keep up for the next 7 days. I'm definitely getting used to it, but I love to cook and I miss that. Looks like I'll miss the entire summer BBQ season at this rate.

I'm alredy pretty tired after three days of inadequate food and three night shifts without good sleeps in between. One day of rest and I'm on four straight days on a new team, which is very taxing. Some people seem to think that nurses somehow magically know everything about them instantly - like we all mind-meld at the med room. But it takes time to get to know each patient's condition, history, needs... Add to that the Friday and Monday business and I'm tired just thinking about it.

I don't care about working weekends like a lot of people seem to; it's the Mondays and Fridays that are my toughest days. First there's the inevitable pre-weekend discharge rush, followed by transfers from ICU and emerg to clear their decks for the weekend, and then the 'Sunday shuffle' - getting everyone in the right rooms for their condition, insurance, staffing, isolations... Lots and lots of extra teaching on the weekends as family members come to visit and need updates. It's tricky because you have to explain things differently to different people, according to their needs, what they can take in and what they already know... Mondays all the docs, admin and therapy staff come back in a whirlwind!

I'm so glad I got that juicer. I don't know what I'd be doing for food during all this otherwise.

Hey, have a great vacation Bobby, and Nera, I hope you catch em all! (safely!) I do and I don't get the Pokemon thing, but if it gets you out the door then I LOVE it. Way to go on the hoody :o) Yay free stuff!!

Otherwise, everybody play safe and I'll catch up with you next week. ((((hugs))))

Hi team:). Hope everyone is having a good summer so far.
Trish: ouch!!! Take of yourself girl.
Nera: I don't get the whole Pokeman thing either......
Kirsten: I hope that you can avoid the surgery. My brother has an ileostomy bag and the life style change is HUGE! He is on a very restricted diet. Nothing that could cause gas, no carbonation, no yeast containing foods (no beer or bread), nothing with high fiber....
Bobby: have a fabulous vacation:)
I got two decent runs this week so far...but on a dreadmill. I also did two strength classes and some yoga. Overall, I'm feeling pretty good:)
Keep your fingers crossed that my DH gets a job soon:) he has had a couple interviews this week that went well. Hopefully he will hear something tomorrow.

Life is fragile. Love, laugh and enjoy.

Hey all,
Today Monkey had a bball game, he played really well...tourney coming up in 1.5 days...LOL.

Nera, well, apparently it has been fractured for quite a while...I thought it may have been from the 1/2 that I walked, but the doc says it was from quite a while before that, and the 1/2 managed to make my foot yell at me...LOL. Hoping it gets better soonish. I have a treadclimber, so am doing that just to keep myself active. Very cool about the hoodie...and I have to ask...what the heck regarding the pokemon...

Hugs to you all,
Trish

Kirsten that is a biggie for a surgery. I hope that you can do some things to avoid that. Now I feel bad for whinning about my software issues. Seems way trivial compared to what you are dealing with.

Trish how did you fracture your foot?

My work had a company picnic at local baseball game. Saw the Saints play, well I didn't I chatted with coworkers most of the time. LOL!!!! But you get $15 in Saints bucks to buy beer but since we don't drink hubby gave me his so I could buy a hoodie with it. We asked and said do these bucks work on merchandise? Was very happy to hear yes so my hoodie cost me nothing. Now I needed another hoodie like I needed a hole in my head(one of my mom's sayings) but hey a free hoodie should never be turned down. LOL!!! Took the day off and my son and I will be going out for our pokemon walk soon.

Hi everyone!

Things around my house are hectic as usual. Trying to work my way through a fractured foot, and a pretty big tear in my labrum...initially, the tear was pretty small, but over time, and with ST, it has gotten longer. Have to see if surgery is the way we need to go...hope not, but we will find out.

Bobby, so happy to see you are mending well, and that your vacay is coming up quickly.

Kirsten, oy my friend, I hope you can avoid it for sure. What steps are they telling you to take to make you less of a candidate for the surgery? Hope food plays nice with you soon.

Gotta fly, doing a schwack load of laundry now.

Hugs,
Trish

So glad the back is playing nice Bobby. I hope you and your lovely wife have a wonderful time in MB!

Nera, got to catch 'em all!! Good for you!!!

Sheesh, Doris, that IS a long recovery time. I'm at the point where outdoor activity isn't pleasant for me either. My temps are a long way from yours!!!

Trish, to answer your question from ages back, the surgery I'm facing is a pretty life changing colostomy. The surgeon is talking about the removal of the sigmoid colon and a good portion of the ascending colon. I'll try almost anything to avoid that.

Speaking of which, I'm trying solid food again today. So far, not so great. I'll try another couple of days juicing. On the bright side, I'm loving the new juicer.

Night shift. Back to work.

So there is a new pokemon app for phones that lets you go out and capture pokemon. I went walking tonight with my son as he did it. We only did a mile and my calf muscles really hurt. I don't know if we started too fast or what but wow first half of the walk was rough. My son walked 7 miles the first day the app was released. Plus went bike riding to increase his range. Thank goodness he didn't try doing it while driving. Hot and humid here so our plan to walk each night is on shaky ground.

HI team. Had a great visit to NH to see family and friends. It was weird, I felt like a visitor, not like I was home. So, I guess that means south Florida is now home:). While in NH I did some running. The hills were OK, a little sore the first day but then, nope. All was fine. Phew.
Joined the gym this morning, a 90 day special, as it's just too stinking hot to run outside, even at night or in the morning before the sun arrives. The virus I had took a lot out of me. I was sick in mid May and just this week I feel like I am back to "normal".
Hey, Bobby, sorry about your back. Let it heal!!
I think no escapes their childhood without some sort of issue(s). I had a "hardware" issue with a bone chip in my elbow that over the years, did lots of damage. It's all good now though.
Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying summer so far:)

Hey everyone!

Back home after the bball tourney, so nice to sleep in my own bed:-) It rained like crazy today, so much that my gutters overflowed...so, after 2 hours of cleaning them out in torrential downpours, I am flippen tired...LOL:-) Tomorrow we are expecting another cwap ton of rain. Weird summer, good for us, but really bad for cherry farmers.

You guys have been chatty:-)

Hey BobbyD, love you my friend! I so understand where you are coming from. Back issues are VERY hard to deal with as they wreak havoc on both your mind and your bod. Trust me, core strength is super important to help your back stay healthy. Sounds a bit like your erector spinae muscles have turned off because of the impinged discs. Sending you healing thoughts my friend! I am putting on the pointy boots to give you a good one:-) We can do this my friend...the time is now! Great job getting out there for the ride today:-) Love you xox

Kirsten, what surgery hon? I think we all need to get back on the wagon and use the naughty mansion to our benefit! Hugs and love my friend! Way to go getting moving:-)

Nera, getting through past trauma is so important in your current health...I love that you are working through it:-) I totally agree on the labels thing...taking a behaviour trait, and saying it takes you too a certain spectrum is just wrong!

Skirner, good luck with all of your interviews!! Sending you positive thoughts that you will get the position that will make you happy! Glad that your knee is starting to play ball:-) Just listen to your bod, and go back slowly...you will get there:-) I'm totally a hug maniac...LOL:-) Just ask BobbyD and Kirsten:-)

TBourlin, congrats on getting going again!! So awesome to read:-)

Hahaha Pen, Josh would have texted you every 5 minutes to get you out to do the last .34...he is sooooo OCD:-)

If all you get is all you give, then you should only give all you''ve got.

Kirsten, Nera - over the years I have got to meet so many spark peeps. JASR and other events, after years of knowing you online when you finally meet in person it is really awesome and plenty of Hugs go around (right Kirsten). We go out with friends a few times per month upon arriving and leaving we all hug each other even the guys, sometimes the there are 6 or 8 of us.
Tbourlon- I will never run the way i was 5-6 yrs ago but after i get my bike legs back i am going to work on running legs, probably not much racing but just run.
Scotianrunner- nice ride, hate when i leave myself short on a ride or run

I did force myself out on the bike today 8 miles wiped me out, the last 1/2 mile was a 400 ft climb, not ready for that yet. This was the first ride in 415 days... last run was 297days ago. I am going to try to get myself back to where i want to be to be the person i want to be.
Back is pretty sore tonight may have pushed too hard since it was feeling a somewhat better, DUMB!

Yesterday was another bike riding day. Almost 40 kms. If I'd have seen that I was at 39.76 when I got to my doorstep, I'd have circled the driveway again. It was raining with thunder so..... I didn't. I didn't check my watch and I didn't go back out. I just screamed to Paul not to close the door. emoticon
I slacked on my water but I tracked every last bite of food. In retrospect, I could've eaten a vegetable or two, as well. Today that'll be my focus. I need good fuel for my run+yoga day.

Accountability check in: yesterday, I took the stairs every chance I got at work and drank only fresh pressed juice. Still doing baby steps. On the bright side, I made it through a VERY challenging 12 hour night shift without stress snacks!

To Bobby, have faith! You WILL run again, just take it slow & easy. About this time last year I popped a tendon right above my knee - thought I'd torn it, maybe I did. I thought my running days were over. emoticon But a few months ago I did start running again, slow & easy, just for a few minutes at a time, then worked my way up in time. Still not running at my old speed yet, but I did a 5K on June 5th (first one in about 2 years) & finished in about 40 minutes! emoticon It CAN be done, just give yourself time to heal first!

Kirsten actually I am an extrovert/introvert. (I have a friend who is going to school to be a counselor and she has these cool test and chart things) That means I like to be around people but it drains me. So I enjoy lots of solitude also. My friend is an extrovert/extrovert which means she loves being around people but it charges her up. She did say she would give me the test to determine if I have Aspbergers (because I have another friend who says I am) but she says she can tell ahead of time I don't have it. I do like being with people I like talking with them and stuff I just don't think the majority of them need to freaking touch me. LOL!!!

I tried to hug my son a lot when he was growing up. But I didn't teach him to hug people hello and goodbye. I still think that is weird and too casual with your personal space. Hugs to me are special and meaningful. When a friend's young daughter was sad at her uncle's funeral I had no problem hugging her/holding her for 20 minutes. In fact that made her mom upset that she was hugging me for comfort. What can I say due to my pillowy physical make up I look like I was custom made for hugs. LOL!!!! Plus I am shorter than her mom and she could lay her head very comfortably on my shoulder. I guess if there is a context for hugs then I am okay with it. But I have had random people in stores walk by me and put their hand on my shoulder. that is just no. Or the time my ceo held my face with his hands that was a very very very tough thing for me. Mostly as I didn't want to kick or bite the ceo and lose my job. LOL!!!!

Bobby I get the lack of sick time. For quite awhile my hubby was an independent contractor and I worked for a place with no health benefits. It is so tough when you have to decide between income and taking care of yourself. I really hope things get better for you soon.

Fitness accountability: I took the kids to the park today and while I merely sat on the bench, I got out. Later went for a slow 20-minute walk with my dd. Baby steps emoticon

Happy 4th tomorrow you guys! I hope you have some fun plans emoticon

And you guys are really going up my alley! I'm very guarded about my personal space as well, also because of childhood trauma and neglect. Hugging and physical contact generally scare the heck out of me, but because of lovely people like Bobby, I'm learning to value hugs and sharing. Over time I've come to recognize how important it is for my own well-being to create a safe space inside my own zone and then to slowly open it up to others I can trust. It's a slow process, and to be frank, I haven't met many in the therapy community who have been particularly helpful either. The process I use is called Naikan therapy - a form of gratitude or mindfulness work that involves training your attention toward what you value rather than what bothers you.

I'm not saying that as ADVICE, it's just my experience. I need to get out of my fear place and into the sharing, touching human world. I think I must be an introvert with extrovert tendencies! lol! One of my goals as a mom has been to raise huggers. I managed one, but not the other, not yet.

Nera, I'd hazard a guess that in addition to being a non-toucher, you're also an introvert - am I right? My dd is the same. And yes, there's a huge social cost to being both isn't there? I wish people could just be respectful of our differences, but the truth is that people often feel uncomfortable when they are around 'different' and they don't know how to handle it I suppose.

As much as I DO respect your space and everyone's right to have it all to themselves... I hug you all virtually all the time :o)

Bobby, what a lot of pressure to have to take on - in addition to the pain, worrying about missing work. We were self-employed for years and years and now I'm casual so I get you on the no sick-time thing. Scary. Back to work tomorrow night! I wish I could take a couple more days off, but if I do my pay will be too small to manage on.

Bobby: You do have health insurance, right? IE why would you loose your home if you had to do surgery, etc.?

Neraus: You sound like me in some ways. I also suffer from low self esteem, as all my siblings do. It can be hard on our hubby/spouse, that is for sure. When it comes to hugging I feel somewhat similar. I hate accidental contact, from anyone and that includes my son. IE if you are going to touch me, warn me in advance and let me decide if I will say yes or not. At church, I do allow others to hug me, but don't approach where I can't see you and figure out what you are doing. Also, do not just touch me in passing, or invade my space. My son used to invade my space, but now at 18, he never comes near me. I wonder how he will respond when I decide to hug him when he goes off to college? Funny, my mom used to never hug me, until I moved out, now she can't stop wanting to hug me and to say I love you at the end of every phone conversation. I only tell my husband I love him. For some reason, I don't even say it to my son, but then neither did my mom tell me that. I admit, some of me, doesn't trust other people. My mom was a person who would be so polite and nice to your face, then when you left the things she said about people were absolutely awful. It seemed like it was a southern thing. IE when we lived in Tennessee for a short time, all southerners are very nice to your face, even if they can not stand you. It makes me distrust that people mean what they say when they are nice to me, or compliment me.

Oh, and the one time I went to a counselor, I swear he wanted me to spill my guts and cry the first time I met him.. Hello, share some of who you are first, develop some level of respect or trust, before I cry to you. I hate crying in front of strangers, it is just shaming and degrading. My parents seemed to saying crying was for babies and adults never ever do it in front of others.

It is true that most people have something from their youth that affects them. Just mine some days seem worse. My husband made a comment about how both of us have inferiority complexes but deal with them differently. I had never though of that and did some research on google. I would say pretty defninately I suffer from low self esteem. The fun part is one article says there are two kinds of people that suffer from this. One is people who just lack confindence in themselves. The other group is due to trauma sustained during childhood. Bingo on the later for both my hubby and myself. Per this article those in the later group have a hard time getting better with out therapy. Not so sure about that. I know hubby will never go and the couple of times I tried it really didn't have the right person. Of course only had couple of sessions each time so hard to tell. But if I can just say if you know someone in your life that seems a bit stand offish and isn't all huggy and touchy please don't tell them they are on the autism spectrum. People do that to me all the time and I hate it. I have some dang good reasons on why I don't like people invading my personal space. I hug the people who mean the most to me the rest of you can keep your hands to yourself. LOL!!!! Some people are just too touchy feely. The joke in my office is that I am getting a sign that says personal space boundary tresspassers will be bitten. LOL!!!

Kirsten let's hope for the ER doc'said opinion. I totally get the fear of going into surgery and that is part of my issue also. Let's keep our fingers toes and anything else we can cross to avoid surgery.
Neras I don't think we can ever come way completely clean from our youth some things just seem to stay with us I hope the software treat you better in the future.
Skirnir I hope that you'll be able to find a job quickly one that you like and when you would be able to thrive at. Good luck with any hopefully it was just a glitch and the next time you go out everything will be better

As for me the pain is still in the back but a lot of growing pain on your lower ab not sure what and how they can be related driving me crazy. But it's better than it was two and three weeks ago so I guess it's still progress. I miss those days of feeling invincible. If I would have to go for surgery or something major we would lose our house and that is what scares me. But Life Goes On and I must remember life is good

Bobby: Hope you are feeling better soon.

Kirsten: Are we talking ulcers here? Or something else? Not overly familiar with gut surgery to know that that means.

Nearus: I would also say I mostly have software issues.

Mine is trying to find a new job right now. What a depressing thing to do. Been about two weeks since I found out that my regular private car insurance does not cover doing deliveries for pay (Instacart) and that I would need a $1,700 ish commercial policy. Instacart just did not pay well enough to begin to make that something I wanted to do, so I am looking for another job. So far, I am up to 5 in person interviews, 1 phone interview and 4 job fairs. Nothing scheduled for this coming week and that makes me a bit more depressed. Last weekend I had two interviews scheduled for Monday and both would have been interesting jobs.

Have been nursing my knee a bit though, so one hardware issue. Did a run walk interval 6/24, I guess. Had some slight knee pain at the end, but let my son have the car for work and I decided to do a just over a mile bike ride to target that afternoon. After doing the one mile back home, my knee was killing me. Wasn't sure I could walk my bike across the road at first, or do the ramp up to our apartment complex. Have to admit is finally feeling almost well again a little over a week later, but going to be a tad afraid if I get a little knee pain the next time I try run walk intervals. I was so close to signing up for a 10K end of May, then things took a bit of a back slide.

Sorry to hear about everyone's health issues. Constant pain is never a good thing. For me my issues are all in my head. I am realizing I didn't get through my younger days as unscathed as I thought. But working always to regroup and relearn new habits and try to unlearn bad habits. So as they say in the computer world I have software issues not hardware issues. LOL!!!

Aw Bob, I'm so sorry to hear that! How truly awful!!! It sounds like you're doing everything you can for now. Hold on dear friend. If there's one thing I'm learning as a rehab nurse it's that recovery takes a hell of a lot longer than we think it will, but that it does happen. I sure hope you feel better soon Bobby.

And here I sit with a similar wake up call... I was in the hospital with belly pain again today. When I think of all the CT scans and IV drugs and treatment I've had these past five years - thank god we have socialized medicine!!! I'd be broke. This time I had to meet with a surgeon who told me it's not a matter of whether, but of when I will have to have gut surgery. The prospect terrifies me - I can't begin to tell you how much! The surgeon was certain that I will need treatment within the year. The ER doc seemed to think I still have a chance to get things under control with diet, exercise and stress management. It almost seems to good to be true, too 'easy' and yet I know how 'EASY' it is to get that under control.

Never in my life have I felt so vulnerable as I have the past 3 1/2 weeks. I somehow hurt my back and up until till about 3 days ago I had lots of pain and was not very mobile. I felt weak, scared and for the first time in my life I felt I was not in control of my life. The pain started in the low back but went to the groin, low abs and hips. Never isolated and was horrible every morning but eased as the day went until about 6 pm or so..
Even this morning I could barely move, putting on pants, tying shoes or socks was a painful chore. I got thru work daily, used ice, heat and 10's unit and nothing was helping, then about 8 am today the pain was just went down to about a level 1-2 from about an 8+. I am not sure why but very thankful and hope it continues to go away.
Maybe this was the kick i need to get back to being me, maybe I can drop the weight again, maybe I can get out of my funk, maybe, just maybe I will run again. MAYBE...

Anyhow sorry for the long depressing post but I had to get this out of my system, wish me luck as the recovery continues and maybe a few of my old buds around this thread can get the pointy booty boot out and get me moving. HINT HINT
