I read part of a running book for women and at the safety section it suggested you bring a quarter!

The cover was updated to look like a current book but obviously they hadn't updated the content in a long time!

Great tips!

I've gotten to the point that I don't always listen to music, but when I do..... I NEVER use both ear buds, no matter where I'm running. I have one bud in and the other tucked under the front of my sports bra strap.

Did you know I was contemplating running my 16 miles at 3am this weekend? I was going to a paved rail-trail and never run with music. I have several obligations that take time away from my kids so was thinking this may be an alternative...
