I just ran my first ever 5K, the Snowy Egret 5K in Scarborough Maine. I have only been running since February so I am very proud of running this in 34-ish minutes and really pushed myself the whole race. Definitely my fastest pace ever!
Look within. Within is the fountain of good, and it will ever bubble up, if thou wilt ever dig. -Marcus Aurelius
Judi, I forget, is this the time of year where you're on the same time as us or are you an hour ahead? I start running at 7:00 MST. Which means I get a head start either way I'd just like to know how fast I have to run so you can't catch me LOL

Running never takes more than it gives back. Believe in the run. - Nike
"A runners creed: I will win; if I cannot win, I shall be second; if I cannot be second, I shall be third; if I cannot place at all, I shall still do my best."
Penny and Judi - Best of luck on your HMs. I'll be doing the first leg of the Buffalo Marathon relay on Sunday and I'll think of you starting after I finish because of the different time zones. Of couse I'll be rooting for you both!
It's the thread where you can tell us all about your races coming up this week, and also to link your blogs for the past week's races.
So if you are doing any kind of race or special event this week (and it doesn't have to be running - biking, walking, testing for a new karate level - they all count), please let us know on this thread.
And if you completed something last weekend, and wrote a blog about it, please post your blog links here. It's a great way to celebrate your accomplishment.
