Welcome AMYINKAMLOOPS! I'm sloooowww and steady too. But I love it!

I'm still building to the 20 m/week. This week my goal is 18 miles.

M- 5- tempo (went great and had a PR - Whoop)
W - 3 - fartlek
Sat. - 10 - long

Sun/T/Th - intense cross training and fun stuff :) Friday - REST day.

It's 101 here in Texas. Been getting up at 5:00 to eat so I can hit the pavement by 6:00 to beat the heat. So far so good! Y'all enjoy the week.

I am new to Sparkspeople and this forum. Great to see such an amazing group of people support each other.

My running goals this week are to run Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I am planning on 7 km for my weekday runs, and 15 km for my long run (Sunday).

I really enjoy running, but I am slow and steady. I run a 9 to 10 minute km, but I can run far. I look forward to getting to know you better emoticon

I am leaving for vacation, so my goal is to try and run 3 times while we are away. May not be easy, but hoping to squeeze it in!

My goal this week is to get back on track and running more consistantly. I am also thinking about running a 5K on Saturday.

As spring rounds off to summer, you may be thinking of some new goals!

Please use this thread to let everyone know your goals for the week, to keep yourself accountable. The goals can certainly be running related, but you can use the thread for other goals you are currently doing as well.

Simply write down what you have for a goal for the week (for example: complete week three of C25k), and then as the week progresses, come back and update with the results as you complete steps toward your goal.

Plus, our team is on our way to running to the moon! Please help us get there, by adding that team goal to your own goals list. You can find it from the main team page (near the bottom).
