This happens to me sometimes...I do TurboFire more often than I run so I suppose you could take that into consideration. When it happens I usually pause the DVD (or start jogging more slowly if I'm running) and then exhale forcefully when I breathe. Try to get all the air out, don't just do a half-breath out or something. It takes a couple of breaths but it goes away!

Totally definitely a stitch.

I hope Coach Nancy will post to refresh the instrucionnes - I can't remember!

It sounds like a "stitch" to me. Check out the link above for some advice. Stitches are very very common, especially in rookie runners.

So I have been running pretty well and starting to love running....however when I met the mile mark or 1.5 mile mark I get a significant cramp right on my waistline or just above it...and it hurts...any suggestions on why or how to get rid of this or is this just from being overweight and will go away as I continue to lose weight....thanks guys and girls

7 days without laughter makes one weak.
