you'll be fine. we did color me rad in pittsburgh and it is just a fun thing, you walk for a bit run for a bit, go and have fun. we actually tailgated before and after the run so get lots of friends, non runners too

There's a Color Me Rad I'm interested in but it's the weekend after my first half marathon (haven't 100% decided about that HM)....do you think that would be okay? I imagine after the HM I will want to take a break from running for a bit, but I think Color Me Rad is a very casual race. Thoughts?
