I walked 2 miles yesterday, then walked & ran another 2.25, I am trying to switch over doing the timed 5K to the length 5K, so I did lots of walking, and ran when I felt good running :) Burned lots of calories, was very tired, but felt GREAT!

I ran a 5k today and beat my PR!! It was a hilly course and I even ran faster than my best flat course time. What a great day! I can't stop smiling!

Way to go ladies!

I ran 4 miles last weekend and had hoped to work up to 5 miles this weekend but alas...it has rained heavily here all week (at least when I'm off work). So....I've upped my cardio to 80 minutes and raised the step for step aerobics to keep preparing for the race in April. As soon as the weather clears, I can't wait to get out and try to run the 5!

I surprised myself and ran 3 miles instead of doing W6D2. So the new plan is to do 3 miles, 3 or 4 times a week until I do the %K on 4/21. If it feels good I'll start increasing distance from there.

I'm also on Week 6, I did the 20 minute run on Monday and felt really good. Today was a 15 min run 3 min walk and 10 min run. I fought through it- but I didn't have as much drive as Monday..... I wonder why?

Yesterday I did pilates with weights. I hope to do 3 short runs during the week and 8-8.5 miles on the weekend :)

Please use this thread to let everyone know your goals for the week, to keep yourself accountable. The goals can certainly be running related, but you can use the thread for other goals you are currently doing as well.

Simply write down what you have for a goal for the week (for example: complete week three of C25k), and then as the week progresses, come back and update with the results as you complete steps toward your goal.

Plus, our team is on our way to running to the moon! Please help us get there, by adding that team goal to your own goals list. You can find it from the main team page (near the bottom).
