I've just been diagnosed with 'runners knee' from running and hill walking - and according to my physio this is because I have weak glutes I'm pretty gutted and annoyed with myself.
So I'm not running, well not anything more than 3 miles and I'm taking it nice and easy...
But, and there is a but I really need to get a lot fitter - I have a weeks hiking in the Pyrenees in June and i really need to be walking fit. I was hoping to do a 24 mile hill hike at the end of April, I think I may have to knock it on the head. Any idea? Has anyone else had this problem? What have you done to keep your cardio fitness?
I did some trail cycling today and my knees are feeling sore again
