Hey guys,
Today was brutal! But hey, tomorrow is a new day:)

Bobby, thank for your input - I ABSOLUTELY agree with your assessment on parents - Michelle and I tag-team with them (some are more sensitive when we tell them we will be giving the boys time-outs (ok, sitting out a drill) if they are not listening, than others. If I am leading the practice, she jumps in with them, and visa versa if she is. That way there is no good cop, bad cop overall.

Anyhow, I have a schwack of work to do tonight, so I hope you all had a FANTASTIC day!

Hugs,
Trish

Evening Rookies,

I just got back from my 5 mile run it was good - about a 10min pace. I have been avoiding the hills because of the knee but decided to try it tonight so I did the 5 miles with hills and it felt great. I love the pain from running. I ran 8 on saturday and 5 today. plus I feel great thats the great thing.

Anne congrats for beign the first HTC to run the double you did awesome! Anybody else up to the challenge. I will do mine on Saturday - Our 5 mile is pretty flat and will be about 65 degrees with a chance of showers will see if that changes. Then the 5k race in the evening. I am really looking forward to it.

Suzette - great job on the hills - I don't mind them! They are great for training.

Bobby - I am so sorry about the calf, I know how I felt about my injury and it sucks!!! enough said!

I did get the framing done on the roof just no sheeting or shingles will have to wait for some dry days. It will not be this week! grrrrr.

Neraus - I always wear compression shorts while running - for me it keeps everything together.

Bobby - I just thought of something do you wear compression socks - one of my running friends swears by them. I have never tried them how about anybody else?

Beth, great run this morning! Hope that coffee tasted good afterward.

Trish, I guess I didn't read back far enough but not sure what is going on with your boys. I didn't get to read much while I was in NY and trying to catch up just put me further behind so I just started from where I was. Hope the situation gets rectified though!

Nera, sounds like a good day with your mom and sister. Sorry you couldn't find shorts in your size.

Deej, are ya gonna share the pic your son took? Love to see if we look a like...only I'm the blonde version....LOL

Mike, sorry its cold and rainy there...yep, I see the pattern....we get cold and then really hot....you stay wet and cold....Yeah, right, not whining hum? (I hear you mumbling under your breath....LOL)

Bobby, Um, what happened to you?? I really missed a lot! Anne is not crazy....she is just a crazy runner.

Penny, who's Paul?? New beau???

I ran the causeway today. 5 miles...it was hot but not as hot as yesterday as there was a breeze at the top of the bridge. I am really enjoying running *The Hill*....I wish there were more!

Thanks guys! I ran with Paul for the first 7ish kms and then misplaced him somewhere in the crowd. Did the last three a lot speedier than the first bit but, I'm noticing, that "three KMs to go" seems to be where my brain & body go - MOVE IT! At any rate, I'm pretty happy with my results.
Going to do a May blog tonight, I think. I've got lots to report on. Five races - two half marathons... Still gained a little bit of weight this month. Not sure I like that...
Back in a bit, tonight's workout: LAUNDRY!!

penny -great run, real nice pace.

beth - good run, hope you had a good day at work

deej- good to here from ya, 9.5 saturday back with another 5 today, fantastic!!!! you should use that as your profile, your summer look.

trish- if you could get the parents out of soccer it would be great, they are the trouble makers. i have coached u6 thru college and the only time there were not parent issues was college. it is never their kids fault, it is always the other kid. if issues continue get your other coach to talk to his parents, keep you out of the middle since it is your son. just suggestions.
good luck with the deadline, keep stress low :)

gigi- how did you do on your to do list that was blank?? i got a couple of mine done, big one was cleaning out the basement.

hmmeyers- 5.2 today, excellent

neraus- i have a pr of those compression shorts that shut the blood off from the knees down. LOL

mike- sorry about the roof but hope your run was great.

my crazy wife did the 5 miles this morning then came back and did 3 more tonight, i guess she will be the ghost runner for the HTC since i am still on the sideline. i don't think i can get myself up to 18 miles in by the end of august. this sucks i mean really sucks, i am missing all my summer races!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never worn the compression shorts before so I didn't know how they were suppose to fit. But after becoming woozy from lack of blood to the brain I figured they were too tight. LOL!!!

I wore my running shorts for my walk tonight. When I run I must move my legs differently or something because when I run I don't get chaffing. But on this walk tonight there was chaffing. As one comedian once said yes there was chaffing you could cook a chicken between my thighs. LOL!!!!

Now off to sew a button on my pants so I have something to wear to work tomorrow. Life lesson is never pull a loose thread on your pants while at work. It might be the only thing holding a button in place. LOL!!!

Ok, I am sick of hearing about the hot!!! LOL You guys are compalining about the heat and its cold and rainy here. In the winter when you guys were freezing and it was cold and rainy here. Do you see a pattern. OH Suzette - I am not whining either! hehehe

I was going to replace roof this week - it didn't happen - rain hasn't stopped! at least long enough for a roof to be put on - I am headed out for a run about 4-5 miles I gather have a great week!

oooooo shopping sounds fun :) just went out myself for a few mins & picked up a few items I forgot @ the grocery the other day. That unfortunately was not the fun kinda shopping :(

Got in 5.5 & some change this morn as planned & when I returned, oldest Grandson said, "ooooo Mammaw, you're icky"! LOL that said it all. Gonna gonna gonna get up early early early beginning 2morrow to get in my miles (followin' Beth's lead). Temps are climbing to 89 - 90s next cpl days b4 storms usher in a cooler front (supposedly!)

My son took a pic of me as I was drenching w/ sweat following my 9.5 miler Saturday & toasting him w/ my water. May use it as a profile pic as it's prob a better reflection of what I really look like most days LOL At least I'm "glowing" lol lol

Water has never tasted as good nor showers felt as good as they have these past few runs!!

Hello everyone. Did some shopping with my Mom and sister. I was looking for some longer compression style running shorts. I found some but only in size small. There is compression and then there is stoppin blood flow all together. LOL!!!

Bad bad bad on the food but plan to ride my bike or walk when I get back from the grocery store.

Hang in there Trish. I had to have several talks with my son about walking away from people who try to engage him. So hard for them to understand. My son is now just getting it and he is 16.

emoticon 5 miles done this a.m. As Carrie said "holy humidity"! It was like running in a haze...but I made it! Heading to my chiro for a PT session...don't know why she is working today but is. Then Bobby and I are doing some planting and work outside since it looks like rain the rest of the week.
Way to go Penny on the 10K! Awesome!
Trish-good luck on the coaching bad boy issue. Bobby has done this with all ages from 5-20's and has dealt with it all. I sure give you guys credit.
Can't remember much more. Brain fog from the humidity! Ha, ha.
Everyone have a wonderful Memorial Day.

Oh my - hot and humid 5K this morning. Temp was probably in the mid-80s, but humidity made it feel closer to 90. It's time to relax.

Good afternoon peeps, how we all doing? Sunny day here with a little breeze and lovely for a run. HRM monitoring is working well so far and would you credit it I can run faster and more efficiently when I pay attention to the darn thing! Technology huh!

Happy hot, humid, cold, wet whatever running folks.

PS Trish, It's a tough situation you got there with your son/the other boy/ his parents..Bobbys (I think) solutions sounds pretty sporting to me and could develop a good working partnership.

Spot...dealing with a deadline tonight...corp year-ends whose bookkeper decided it was a good idea to give me Friday night (due tomorrow).

Bobby, thanks, I need to figure out the "his parent" logistics. I am ok with that, however, the parent blames everyone but her son for all that happens, so I expect a complaint into WYSA. I'm just frustrated...these buys are U7 (like grade 1), this type of issue shouldn't be coming up yet. It should be more of the misbehaving because they are just goofing off, not because they want to punch people. I had a talk with Joshy, told him he was to walk away if Brett tried to get into it with him - and if that didn't work, he needed to talk to Michelle or me.

Nera, thanks to you my friend...you are awesome!! Changing it up with when you exercise is a good one...also try to play with your calorie range - eat to the low side for 3-5 days, then to the high side for another 3-5....then settle in the middle again. It has always worked for me.

Anyhow, sorry guys, but I must fly (or I will be up until after midnight tonight!!

Love ya!

Beth, the only thing I can teach you about running in FL is how to whine properly...

Penny, Yahoo on the race! And the nap...I also took one, a very long one!

Gigi, I hope your mental state gets better. I've also been having a hard time with mine.

Bobby, my DH wants to have a yard sale too. I told him if he wanted to have a yard sale in FLORIDA in the SUMMER he was on his own.

Anne, I'm with you on the yard sales, I do hate having them...I don't mind shopping them though.

Ah, forgot what else I was going to reply to and DH just pulled in the driveway from work so I have to go make him something to eat.

Stay Cool! If you can!!

Great job Penny. I took a nap too. LOL!!! My run today was not very stellar. 16 minute and 15 minute mile. It was a slog. Not completely sure why but it was hot and I was out later in the morning than I planned. I have not been sleeping well again.

Did get the quilt top done but no pictures yet. Took some things to Goodwill then had a very sound nap on the couch while watching golf. LOL!!!

Sunday so far: up at five, race at 7:30, lunch at 12 and NAP at 1... those were my goals and I met ever single one of them. Got my stats from the official site, pretty cool for a Sunday run - 1:05:20 which put me 99/170 in my age group and 715/1238 for gender and 1306/1962 overall.
AND I got a nice new shiny medal emoticon

trish-first don't pull him out. second, as a coach i would see this kind of stuff all the time it is a competition between the two they are fighting it out for the dominate figure. when i had players like this i would pull the two together and tell them it ends now, no more fighting will be accepted. next in practice i would team them up when you do 2 v 2 drills or whatever but on the same team, force them to be together and work together.(but keep a very close eye on it, don't let them do or say anything negative to the other)

beth - sure is a fancy title, hope your run was good

carrie- yard sales are ok, what was nice it we made enough cash to buy the elliptical and go out to dinner on stuff that was laying around or would have given to helping hand. glad they only happen about every 5 yrs or so.

leg is still attached but getting no better, still have pain walking, steps or on my feet too long. gentle stretching is still painful. so as they say time heals all wounds! only wish it was quicker.

Trish I am thinking I need to change things up but haven't quite figured out how yet. I was thinking of moving my exercise to the morning. I don't think exercising when I do(7pmish most days)gives me a chance to have that higher metabolism thru the day.

As for your kids that is a tough one. My son had issues when younger. Kids learned he was easy to make angry and get all worked up so they would push his buttons all the time. Then he would finally lash out and that is when a teacher would walk by and he would get in trouble. My son had a reputation for being "bad" due to that. You can talk until you are blue in the face but if someone has their mind made up about your child it seems nothing will change it. I think I might move your son to a different team if you could. Maybe when this kid hurts someone other than your son the mom might realize it is her kid that is causing the problems. But I wouldn't hold your breath on that. Some parents are totally blind when it comes to their kids.

Beth-the chicken sounds delicious! I'll have to give that a try here. Your title sounds like mine(well, when I had a title)I have a degree in Medical Technology and worked all areas of the lab but my favorite and last position was in the microbiology dept. at a private lab here in town.
Time to get off SP and check out rashes. Poor Alek who is already suffering from poison ivy has a rough red sandpaper like rash the size of a baseball...on his butt cheek. Poor thing~~

Gigi - I'm with you on the yard sale thing. I prefer to take my stuff to Goodwill and be done with it.

Yesterday was a visit with the fam. Took the pup to a parade - she got lots of compliments because she's so darn cute!
Did a little shopping - yahoo! Got some new skirts and shirts - fun fun.

I think I may try to get out and pick some strawberries today; the day is going to be nice, we have some rhubarb, and I'm in the mood for a pie.

Happy Sunday!

Hey guys...my day today was all over the map!!

First, I had Joshy's soccer game - the other coach sent her hubby to be my assistant...not a big deal, Jeff is awesome:) We have had a couple of issued with several of the high maintenance kids since the beginning of the season...Josh is certainly one of them, along with Chase (the other coaches kidlet). But, Josh has never been in trouble for hitting, kicking, or aggressive behaviour. At our soccer pics a couple of weeks ago, apparently there was a situation where a bunch of the kids where roughhousing, and it ended in Josh pushing Brett, and Brett biting Josh. I never saw it, but was told that Brett's Mom "knows Josh", and that he is a tough kid.

Well, we never met them until this soccer season, so I'm not entirely sure how she knew us before (they are in a different school etc). So today, the boys are totally listening and behaving - I am running a pass and shoot drill as warm-up, and all of the sudden Josh is on the ground crying. I pick him up, and he has bloody teeth...Apparently Brett punched him in the mouth. So I don't know what to do because Brett's Mom has already given the indication that she blames him for her kidlets actions. Thankfully Jeff sent Brett to his Mom because there is no excuse for hitting someone. I asked Josh if he was ok, and he said he wanted some time so I sent him to the other side of the field.

I hear Brett telling his Mom that Josh did this, and Josh did that...all of which I know isn't true because I was running the warm-up, and know what happened. Anyhow, I spent the entire day today trying to figure out if I want to find another coach, and pull Josh out completely (because I don't want him to feel like aggressive behaviour is ok), or tell him to stay away from Brett - if he tries to engage him in something that I wouldn't approve of, back-off, or if I should just leave it (not liking the last option). I know I am venting, but I would really like to get your feedback on it.

LOL P, I'm going with the glum day!! Or perhaps the day you come visit!!!!

Beth, it is the third week in September - I agree with both you and P, what a wonderful pick-me-up!! Post a pics with your new hair do!

Ohmygoodness Bobby, you reminded me of a kidlet book, anyone hear of "Wee Bree"? I'm hoping your calf gets better soon buddy!!

Nera, could it be you need to shock your bod again? Remember the up to the top range, then down to the bottom...changing up the exercise routine? I used to find I needed that every 3-4 weeks or so.

AnneHUGABLEFAMILY - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

Gigi, oy, honey, I am soooo sorry you are still having those issues - my goodness girl, you would think we could manage to find a guru that could cure both of us by now!!! Nope, I haven't told Miss...I'm going to wait for the perfect day to do that. I think you and I need to hit Hawaii together for a couple of weeks, then we will be on safe mental footing!!

Anne, I LOVE your mantra!! You go girl! 7 miles done is 7 miles more than would be done had you sat at home and moped:):) Thanks for being such a wonderful friend:)

P, good luck tomorrow girly, hope you zone into a wonderful place (I so love runners high). You retiring with Mel? Hmmm, how about BC?

Anyhow, sorry I rambled tonight!

Love ya,
Trish

Ok, I just had a really awful reality check.... My race is at 7:30 tomorrow morning and I have to leave my house at 6 which means that I have to be up at 5 emoticon I'm so NOT a morning person.

Anne, enjoy that new eliptical. It's my second favourite workout machine.
Sprouts, I love the lawn mower, too. I'm allergic to grass but I love to mow it. It soothes me.
Retiring in FL? Beth that'd be awesome. Myself, I intend to retire in NS.

emoticon Time for a movie with the boys. I need to mentally prepared for running in the morning.

Beth-do you work PT right now? I have it in my head that you are in the lab with something...
Anne of Bobby-tell hubby you'll pay him back with emoticon and I'm sure all will be well. :) and good for you on the positive/thankful attitude. I had to tell myself this morning to be thankful. I wanted to try another run but Daniel wasn't being compliant with that. I told myself this time will go quickly and I'll be running longer times/distances in no time.
I got to get on the lawn mower today!!(I love mowing the lawn)I put Miles in the wrap and he slept thru the whole thing. YEAH! Now, I'm making burgers for dinner. Bummer I can't put them on the grill: no propane! GGGRRRR...my fault b/c I haven't reminded hubby to get it refilled. Hopefully, our brats on Monday will be grilled.
Time to broil those burgers, so have a great evening. I am so enjoying this weather!!! Nice breezes coming thru the windows~~~AAAAHHHH ....sweet summertime.

Gigi-hang in there. It will get better. Just go out for fun. Don't worry about time or whether you run or walk. Try to just look around at your surroundings and let everything go.
Beth-you moving to FL? I believe you are to young to retire!!!
Sprouts-yard sales...HATE them! I told Bobby if he wanted to have one he was on his own. Now I feel bad that I took the elliptical. Still don't know what the neighbor wants for it. Hopefully not too much. I will have to find a way to repay Bobby. emoticon
Hiya Hermie! No blushing. Just put some of those pictures up you used to....cracked me up!
Suezette-welcome back! Yeah it was really humid here today and I really thought I wasn't going to make my 7 miles at times. Thank goodness my route takes me through shade every so often!

So as stated I did 7 miles this a.m. Not bad but my legs did ache a little. Just not sure if it was aches from the hammy/calf issue or just the aches from whatever is going on.
I have decided today while running that I am going to count my blessings as I run. When my legs started to ache I just told myself how lucky I was to even be out there. With the health issues I have it could be so much worse. People who have auto immune issues sometimes can't get out of bed sometimes. For me to be able to go out and run 7 miles or lift weights let alone work a real job is something I have to keep reminding myself of how lucky I am. The last 6 months have been a roller coaster ride of symptoms, doctor visits and rough uncomfortable days. So from now on my mantra is "I am a lucky girl!"
Thanks for putting up with my rambling all!
I truly love this team and love all of you!

Happy Long Weekend Everyone!!!

Herman- I am so happy to see you posting again. I have left a few messages on your page, but you have been MIA!! How the heck are you doing???

Bobby- I do not have patience for yard sales. My mom loves to go to them, and she finds the best deals. I prefer just to box and donate. Glad the steroid is working.

Anne- Enjoy your new eliptical!

Trish- Cleared to make pain still is not good. My mental state stinks, and I can barely run a mile right now without walk breaks. UGH!!! Did you tell Mis about the tickets?

Beth- Have you seen the ads for Turbo Fire?? It is next on my list to get. I have heard that she has made a schedule with this to go along with Extreme. You are a great leader. We all have lives so do not fear when you can not post a million posts!!

Sprouts- I do love that name!!!

Nera- I totally agree with you on the outfits for loser. Where do they get them. Most of them are awful, and that belt Mike wore I just could not stop laughing. Can his jeans get any tighter???

I went out today intending on running 6, but I would say I walked at least 1/2 of my 6.7 miles. It was still a good calorie burn, but like I said earlier my mental state is rough so I am having a hard time. Hopefully this will get better. Have a great day everyone!

Beth, are you moving to FL in 4 yrs? You're a great leader, here...no apologies necessary.
Bobby-I made $3 on my last garage sale so I vowed to never have another.
Trish-you are a sweet mom to get those tickets. I have no good ideas..maybe wait a bit til she forgets about it or doesn't expect any chance of going.
It's a gorgeous day today! Sunny, with blue skies and refreshing breeze. Probablly around 80 right now. Daniel and I walked 3.5 miles and I just got him happy enough to set him down while I grab some leftovers for my lunch.
Today is our 17th anniversary. Nothing special going on ~that's okay. We're still in love and have many 'proofs' of that emoticon so it's all good!
Have a great weekend!

Went shopping with my son to get some things for his theater trip. I let his friend come along which was good for Chris but I would hav preferred just the two of us.

Weigh in was not good. I thought last week my gain was due to water retention. But it hung around this week too so there goes that theory.

Hey guys!
Just a quick spot today. The girls really tried to minimize the length and stress in my day, but it just doesn't work somedays! I will have to work the weekend - Joshy is going to beaver camp after our soccer game tomorrow morning, and Missy is having a sleepover after her game tomorrow afternoon.

I am so excited for Miss...she was really wanting to go and see the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato when they hit Vancouver in September. I told her that if her Grampa couldn't go, that it wouldn't happen. She was ok with that. But, I went and bought 3 tickets - her, don, and a friend of hers from Squamish...when do you think I should tell her?

Anyhow, must fly, Beaver camp to pack for...

Hugs,
Trish

I'm @ 200.6...so close! I've been toying around that area for a while, but w/my program now, it'llb e gone in no time flat! I overate a bit bc I went out to eat after my cousin's high school graduation, but I also burned way more calories than normal, so it should balance out.

Hi Everyone!

Thank you to everyone who sent emails, spark goodies, hugs, prayers, encouragement, etc during this time! I'm sorry that I can't thank each of you personally because there was so much love sent to us that it would take weeks to catch up! My email box is STILL full. Thanks again! I LOVE YOU ALL!

It's so good to be home again! We arrived here Wednesday morning at 6am and got a couple hours sleep before DHs best bud and his wife from NY arrived here. They came into FL just a few days after we left so when we got home, we spent it with them as that was the plan.

So we've been on the go since getting home!

They left this morning and I went for a 3 mile run. I have a lot of things to catch up on and was going to do some of them after the run but my body rebelled! I spent most of the day on the couch utterly exhausted! I couldn't have forced myself to do anything if I wanted to!

There is a really huge difference between running in NY and running in FL. I did 2 runs in NY and loved both of them. And they were even on hills!

I ran 3 miles yesterday and today (here in FL) and the humidity was so high it wiped me out!

Good news though....I got notification that my Chalean Extreme DVDs have shipped! I can't wait to get them!

Tomorrow I plan on going to the gym for some yoga. Hope to get back into my routine again.

Seriously wouldn't it be cool if we could all run in Central Park? Maybe some day!
Tender steaks on the grill...baked potatoes with fat free sour cream...fresh tossed salad with all the veggies it can hold....yum..yum...yum! Derek and I like our steaks grilled with just a hint of pink and Bobby likes his grilled to death! Not really. But the man can't stand any pink in his steak!
Gotta go. Talk later.

Work done for the week...yahoo! Bobby and Derek go out tonight (will miss Derek when he gets a real job!). I saw the chiro for my second PT appt. for my neck. We did this for 6 weeks before but working always makes me slide right back into pain. I need to change jobs but it is tough to do when you own the company! My neck feels so good after the therapy! She can't quite figure out the legs aching. We talked about getting my thyroid bloodwork done early-not supposed to see the endrocronologist (sp?) until October. This is the way my muscles felt when my thyroid went haywire last time. Hope it's not that...I lost all my eyebrows last time! Yikes!
Lynnizzle-good luck on the 5k! I am sure you will love it. Good luck to your hubby and son. Wow a half marathon. Cool. Welcome to the team. It's a great one!
Mike-No Bobby doesn't roll on the foam roller enough. I keep telling him. But sometimes I forget to do it too!
Beth-who's going to NYC??? I want to go again. Particularly when it isn't FREEZING like last time! Ooooo...we should have a spark get together and run Central Park!!!
Trish-you behaving???
Hiya Gigi!
Trying to rest my legs to see if they will stop hurting but I need to do so many things.
Later, Anne

Good Morning friends!

I read al the posts but don't have timne to respond to everyone.

Gigi - great to see you back! We have been in contact but still miss you on here. good uck with the feet. I too have had a litte issue with my right foot and I think its caused by laces to tight.

Bobby - I hope your poison Ivy clears up quickly! We have poison Oak around here and its bad this year but it doesn't seem to bother me too much. I guess I am lucky. Speaking of the calves its amazing what tight calves and tight hamstrings do to the rest of the legs. Stretching so important and use the foam roller. I know we here it all the time we just need to do it. that is more for me than you. I know you are probably stretching...

I have a busy weekend planned redoing the deck roof - had some daumage to middle part 2 winters ago and finally getting around to fixing it this weekend...

I hope to get in 8 -10 miles tomorrow. Will be running by myself - running buddy out of town! I signed up for my next half in 6 weeks - I am excited.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi I just joined this team. In June I will be running the William A. Irvin 5K. My boys (hubby and son-14) will run Grandma's 1/2 Marathon together again, the day after my 5K. It is a GREAT weekend up there.

Nera - I cracked up when I saw Michael's belt buckle! A sparkly skull? really?!?!?!

Trish - are you close to NYC? A perfect day would be a Central Park run, some matzo ball soup and cheesecake at the Stage Deli, and a Broadway show (with a bit of shopping in there!)

Beth - I totally forgot how much I like going to the gym in the morning! I have much more energy during the day, and there's no guilt in the afternoon when I would normally make excuses as to why I shouldn't go to the gym!

Today is school, veggie pickup at the farm (yahoo!), relaxing. I think tonight is going to be a great night for some Alaskan salmon and some wine.

Hooray for Friday!

Hey you guys! I totally thought today was Friday until late in the afternoon...dang it, one more day!!

Carrie, I would LOVE to go there, one day perhaps we can go together:) Nice that Mary Poppins was great - hope the gym trip went well:)

Beth, great job with the 5'er...here comes summer!!!

Cass, holy there was some strong dancers tonight huh? I was pretty amazed at the depth in Miami (at least I think it was there...LOL). Fingers crossed for your podiatrist appointment girly!!

Jenny, hope your PT went well - think "lift responsibly" when you do your boxes my friend!

Anne11...LOL, but I know you resemble the other names:):) I am trying not to LOL about the wart, but it sounded like you and your doc were having a Laurel and Hardy moment:):)

Lasttry, great job getting that W9D1 out - how did it feel?

Gigi, wow, nice that you are cleared to do damage...LOL - I wish I was cleared for that instead of just kinda doing it on my own. Wow, you have a 9 year old carrot -CONGRATS DREW!!!!! You will race again my friend, stay strong, and keep moving forward:) As for your sis...well, she has some pretty awesome support in you, I hope she realizes how loved she is, and can chart a new path.

Nera, NICE!!! I'm so proud of you for reaching that milestone, and outside - GREAT! BL, oy, I wanted to rip that dang buckle off!

Bob, glad the poison ivy got the much needed stop button! Where in the calf are you having probs?

Anyhow, must fly...

Love you guys:)

Anne - Enjoying the sunshine?

Jenny - good luck with the PT, hope it helps.

Anne (11) - ouch on the wart, glad you got it fixed.

LastTry - Week 9 already - Way to Go!

Beth - looking forward to the new pic :)

Gigi - Hi there! So good to hear from you again, and thank you for the update. It's very nice for your sister to have a safe place to go. And great job on your son's PR. Dream on about beating him - he's also going to get better and better :)

Nera - the quilt will be much appreciated for his favorite team colors. Nice touch.

Bobby - glad the steroids are working on the Poison Ivy, but I'm not real happy reading about the calf pain again. Some of the doctors I've seen think my PF is caused by my tight calves. Maybe one day we'll figure them out.

I had a chiropractor appt today. She really worked on my foot, and clicked all over the place! Two of the cuneiform bones (mid foot) have slipped down, and she put them back into place for me.

quickie tonight, steroid shot has worked well on the poison ivy, no longer spreading, still have a week on pills. calf was pretty good today went on walk with the dogs stepped off a 6 inch ledge and had sharp shooting pain in the calf, felt like another tear, killed me to walk back to the car so i will be waiting till next weekend to maybe try it out.
beth no plan on recovery. may go see a sports ortho to find out why the calfs are a continuing issue for me. too much pain to even bike.

night all!!!
run fast run safe and have fun!
