I'm actually running a 5k for my daughter's school on 10/14, Run for the Cure is in Baltimore on 10/21, and I have been thinking of joining in. 2 of my co-workers are going to walk it.
Any advice on training the week before up to the day before the run?
I have walked/run 5k's before, but this will be my first time completly running the distance for a long time. (since high school cross country) I have been training consistantly, mostly on treadmill, but have occasionally run outside.
I'd appreciate any advice.
