Just myself. I have been through too many trials to give it all up now. Life is running soomthly to desire to be someone else.

Depression is the impression left by fear. Be willing to fight the fear. Conquer it with love.

There have been people in my life that have some of the traits I would like to have. Presently, there are not as many. I go out seldom, usually just to go to the doctor, so that's where Sparkpeople can come in. I already know many beautiful people (inside and out ) that fill the bill. I intend to seek out, for example, people who are very organized, as I aspire to be one day. I have much to change in my life and once again, Sparkpeople will help me with those goals. P. S. - This is completely a different subject but has anyone tasted Arctic Zero? I have not but would be interested in hearing from anyone who has. If you have not heard of it, search it on your computer. It might help you, people seem to really like it. It's a frozen dessert with - I'm not sure but about 150 calories for the whole PINT!

I can't think of any one person that is everything I aspire to... but there are many people that have been role models for different aspects of the person I want/try to be. My mom is endlessly patient and loving. My sister is warm, strong, and engaging. One friend is amazingly intelligent and quick witted. Another friend nutures talents to their full potential. One values kindness, forgiveness, and selflessly giving to others above everything else. Come to think of it, I have been blessed with some pretty amazing women in my life!

I can think of two teachers who inspired me & influenced me. I just had to chuckle at their true names. Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Jones.
Mrs. Smith's husband may have been related to my mother's family whose name was Schmidt prior to World War I. They changed their names to Smith because of the extreme prejudice against the Germans in this country. Mrs. Smith was one of my home ec teachers. In those days, it was required to learn how to sew for a girl to graduate from high school. But she was so much more than that. She taught me a lot about faith, and about respecting others and myself.

Mrs. Jones was my senior English teacher. She had a way of giving confidence to her students to succeed in the world as we were preparing to graduate from high school. I also tested into more advance classes in college because of the way she prepared me for the future.

I am not sure that Ihave ever accomplished it, but I always wanted to model myself after these two women.

Think of the person you ultimately want to be. Do you have anyone like that in your life?
