Thanks for the heads up! My sister Erin who lives off Front Street said her Internet was out, but so far no power outtages that she has reported. Hopefully if they do take it down it will only be for a few mins so nobody has to shiver in all this cold.
Hey folks, I haven't been able to track down the specific location of this planned power outage despite Googling & checking in with Press Sun-Bulletin, but thought I should pass this along in case any of you might be affected. This was passed along to employees of Catholic Charities, which is located on 232 Main St. and 290 Front St. Apparently they are planning on a likely power outage:
"Good morning all. On Tuesday (12/17), the agency will open at 12 noon due to the possibility of a NYSEG shut off which may affect a large area of Binghamton. Specific areas were not mentioned, but please contact all your clients who may be affected and inform them so that they may be prepared since it may affect their heat and electricity."
If anyone can put their finger on more precise information please DO SHARE for the benefit of those Team members who might be affected.
