There are THREE climbs of 1500 feet apiece built into this ride! Don't know how they can say there is 1854 ft. elevation gain as I thought elevation would be cumulative, i.e. at least 4500 for those three climbs!
There is a WORLD of difference between a long FLAT distance and a shorter distance filled with climbs!

i am definately doing the 64 mile ride on Sunday.. didn't think about biking to it to add mileage to it to try and make it a Century...Hmmm... I think i can do that.. Especially since it looks like they'll be a long enough break to stop and eat.. CAN you tell me what to expect from this ride???
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.
Even though they are not offering a century ride on Sun. depending on how I hold up and whether I can get out early enough I may bike TO the event from Binghamton which would give me another 40 miles to bump up Sunday's 64 mile ride to a century ride.
