I went back just a few hours each day on Thursday and Friday. I feel almost back to normal now but definitely taking it easy & resting when I feel the least bit tired 'cuz I know my body is telling me something. And I've been doing some (easy) walking, but definitely not back to workouts yet - maybe next week some light workouts.

Glad you're feeling better and hoping that the rest of your recovery goes smoothly. Hopefully this will resolve your issues and you can be done with surgery.

make sure to take it easy.. I've had 3 c/s and the last 2 no pain meds..I know it's not the same.. but the rule was no driving for 2 weeks to let the abs heal.. So let them HEAL lady.. you'll be happier in the long run. :)

I feel really good now so it's less of an issue, I guess - I just WANTED the week off emoticon .

My belly is a little sore but feels more like I did too many sit-ups than like I just got opened up & I haven't had to take any meds today (we'll see how that goes after an evening with DD - DH is going to work late to see if he can get his hours up as he's on mandatory 10% OT right now & isn't going to hit it this week...)

My main concern right now is I haven't driven yet and I drive stick (which actually does use more abs than automatic LOL!) - I don't want to do too much and get stuck at work because I'm too sore to get home!

I had more surgery yesterday - delayed it until this week on purpose so I could do my 5K. Feeling better today than I did at this point with my previous surgery. I walked a little bit yesterday and today to help ease the bloating and prevent shoulder pain from the gas... nothing major, more like "extended pacing". trying to take it easy, but I may have to go back to work sooner than I'd like because I can't work from home & need to get some stuff done. I'm delaying it and taking it easy as long as I can though - I had just hoped to take the whole week off emoticon

Guys and the squeamish may look away now emoticon

Since the fibroid I had operated on in December grew back so quickly (it was non-malignant, but aggressive), my doc and I decided that hysterectomy was the way to go. Hopefully, that will take care of the issues I've been having (it better, given that I no longer have the organs the were producing the "issues"!
