This has happened to me a few times. All I can do is hope they found what they were looking for.
It's not uncommon to go to bed thinking, "Darn, I should have run today." It's not common to go to bed thinking, "I shouldn't have run today."

i agree it is disappointing when someone leaves.. For me i hope it's because they have all the tools for there life change, eventhough i recognize they may just be going back to old habits... It's hard to change your life... it's hard to choose health in an instant gratification world...I too have read this blog.. In fact i printed it out and reread it whenever i need the reminder that the benefits out weigh any negatives.... Keep sparking on!
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.
Thanks, Don. I've read John's Blog before and a reread every month or so is a good thing.
I saw a great saying on another Sparker's Blog,
"A year from now you'll be really glad you didn't quit today."
My first thought was, "Yikes, a year from now???? I'll still 'be doing this' a year from now?" Ahha, I had caught myself in the act of negative thinking on 2 points..."a year from now" and "doing this." I guess I still need to constantly remind myself that this is a day-by-day, life-changing endeavor...and that the quick-fix, instant gratification mentality will lead to the downward spiral that ends in quitting.
Thanks, again for such a timely topic!
Hello, I am Catherine from Port Crane, NY
"When you look back at this day a year from now, you will be so happy you didn't quit."
I was SO disappointed recently when I went to catch up with a fellow Sparker as I had an e-mail notice of her latest blog and...
She was gone without a trace! No SparkPage, no recognition of her in the SparkSearch...just dropped right off the face of the planet!
This has happened before and I my heart just falls so...what could have happened? Could I have said something that might have made a difference?
Well, I'm passing this blog along to share with others and hope it will make a difference.
Feel free to forward it to anyone who you think might find it inspirational:
Thank you SO MUCH JOHNTJ1!!
Here's a little more inspiration from Pink & John Legend along with Herbie Hancock and his band...
