I am planning on the Bridge Run for my 1st 5K as well. Although I am afraid that your pace might be a little quicker than I can handle. We shall have to see how my training goes between now and then, but if I think I won't hold you back, I would be happy to be your running partner. And if Don does too, all the better. Go Don! :-)

Thanks guys for helping out Don... I think it would be a great idea if Don could join in. I am going to get outside to run soon... have to in a few weeks to get used to running on the road. They say run outside at least 2 weeks before a race. And there is just under 7 weeks.

That's the trail map for Otsiningo. It would appear that if you combine the pond loop with the center loop and run it twice, you have just about 5K. Another option is to start at Otsiningo North and run up to the rest area and back. That would be just over a 5K.

(And for the record, if you're considering it I say go for it.)

Okay...how about this: Can someone tell me is there a clear cut start and finish to a 5K distance marked off @ Otsiningo...? I can't make heads nor tails of all the stuff I see on the sidewalk. If I knew, perhaps I could PUSH myself out there to see what I think and how it goes and all that stuff... (sounding SO decisive and forceful, I know...lol!)

Hey all... I'll be running in my first 5k in May during the Binghamton Bridge Run. I am looking for a running partner to run the race with. I usually run around a 12m/m pace. Thinking that I will complete the 5k in about 40 minutes. I am really nervous to run in it alone. Is there anyone out there that will join me?
