I saw that somewhere too, it seems to be quite popular and people say you can take the screws out once the season is over, in fact they fall out sometimes on the road. I thought about doing it in a pair of sneakers that were almost used up, but that would mean buying 2 new pairs of sneakers, breaking them in and then using the old ones. Too much time and money involved for this year, but I'm seriously considering it for next year. I just love the simplicity of it. Don, you make a good point about the "waterproofness" of the glue. I wonder if that's an issue?
