I'm probably about 50/50. Unfortunately, I still buy more "convenience" foods than I would like. We're working on it though.

Pretty much avoid the majority of these...the only exceptions are: bottled water...sometimes the convenience is just worth it. Most times I avoid this by bringing a gallon jug of water (those cheap 39 cent gallons you can get refilled at Weiss with Reverse Osmosis water) and refilling my water bottle with this. But sometimes you're in a crunch and OOPS you forget but you're on the road so what's a body to do...?

The other exception is pasta sauces. However I NEVER pay the $2-6 they claim these sauces run...$1 is my limit...! But hey, I like their idea and might try making my own sometime with crushed tomatoes!
