Sometimes even free isn't quite the right price - I sit about 75 ft. from the free onsite gym at my work - but I have NO time while I'm there to use it, and want to get home to my family ASAP (I did use the gym before DD was born, but haven't managed to fit it in since...)
At home, I have my trusty treadmill, and I'm on that thing almost every day. In gorgeous weather (the definition of which is variable - I'd settle for "over 20" right now LOL!), I'll take my walk/jog outside instead. Home exercise just fits my lifestyle better right now - maybe I'll hit the gym again when DD is in more activities & doesn't need me at home so much, but it's not for me now even though it's so close & free...

Nice article Don! We've made room in the dryer 1/2 of the basement for my "workout" room so to speak..... we also have a tv down there so now i can do kickboxing without kicking kids or furniture.. and i've slowly built up getting the weights and other various exercise equipment by scouring craigslist or buying them as goal rewards.. SO now there are NO excuses to NOT use them.. Everyone, even my 4 year old.. uses something down there.
