Just want to let everyone know that I am OK and recovering well. Taking it easy on Saturday last week was the right thing to do - that was the "easy" day & Sunday I felt a lot more tired & had more pain. Each day since then has gotten better and now I'm feeling pretty good & ready to get back to workout walking (as opposed to "just walking") & maybe running next week if the hard walking goes well. Thanks for your well-wishes!

I would recommend folowing doctors orders and not your head. I know that feeling all to well. Just do what you can without causing stress on your area of surgery. In no time you will be back to your regular routine.

Glad to hear everything went so well. I remember when I got my gall bladder out last year feeling a WHOLE lot better than I thought I should...but yep, took it easy for a while.

Cheers to a speedy & smooth recovery!

Well, yesterday I had a minor outpatient operation & am recovering well. Now the challenge will be to NOT dive right back into my fitness routine & hurt myself! It would be much easier to follow my doctor's instructions if I didn't feel so good LOL! Not that I mind feeling good, of course, but the treadmill is calling and I have to ignore the call today!
