You may have to bump it up a bit...depending...Craigs List has some things worth considering...check 'em out.
A couple years ago my treadmill died and I sprung for a Sole F-63 from Dick's for 50% off at $1,000. It's been working like a charm with lots of features, built in fan, speakers, can plug in your ipod/mp3 player, customized programs for varying incline / speed. Love my 'mill! Roll outta bed every morning onto my treadmill...! It's rated for up to 300 pounds and VERY sturdy!

I would like to get a treadmill with my income tax refund after the first of the year. I'm looking for some recommendations for a treadmill and/or a place to look for one.
I used to have one that I spent $250 for at Walmart, but it wasn't nearly sturdy enough for my husband to comfortably run on. I don't want to spend $1000, but do want something decent.
