How about trying Thai Thai way up on Court St. in the rocket plaza? One of my favorites :)
I get the Hot Pot which is a steaming hot bowl of broth, veggies, shrimp and glass noodles...mmmm

Oh! and very inexpensive

I like Whole in the Wall - food is always fresh and delish!
We are trying Moxie in Conklin soon, heard it is fab.
Red Lobster - I love fish!
Panera is great too.
Because we live close, Nikos, I get the BBQ chicken that is seasonal. Yum.

We don't dine out often. When we do, we like to lunch on souvlaki at the greek place near Aldi's in JC (I can't even think of the name.) We like Applebees because there is always something we can eat there. We've gotten Panera a few times and I like their food.

I take each of the kids out on lunch dates once a month, their choice. Usually it's Ponderosa or Chinese Buffet or occasionally IHOP.

We are looking forward to a couple dinners out we plan to do in the fall -- Maxie's Supper Club in Ithaca (best crab cakes ever) and (also in Ithaca) a dinner cruise on Cayuga Lake Cruises. We received a gift of a dinner cruise as a wedding gift last year and it was wonderful. The food was great, the cruise was beautiful and romantic. We loved it!

Dining out is fairly infrequent for me, but I can usually find something wherever I go. I like buffets (chinese & otherwise) because I can pick and choose and find good things. Greek diners such as The Spot, Red Oak, Niko's I'll often order greek salad & spinach pie and toss out the crust.

I rarely do fast food, but when I must I go to Wendy's and do their big chili with BOATLOADS of hot sauce. I love Mexican food, but rarely get a chance to dine out Mexican as others in my family are not fans of this cuisine. I've been to Los Tapatios once, seemed pretty good...never made it to Margarita's on upper Front yet.

I can't help on this one - I go out very seldom because I don't make good choices when I do - I have been to Panera though and do like it there.

Where are your favorite..healthy or fairly healthy placed to eat in Binghamton? I'm a vegetarian and work in the vicinity of the Vestal Pkwy..so my favorites are:

Panera-soup and salads are awesome. They always have at least one vegetarian option.

The Whole in the Wall-Great mix of ethnic foods.

We Tea (i think thats the name) AMAZING new sushi bar in the former Vestal Plaza. Fresh handrolled spicy Yellowfin or Tuna rolls and miso soup is a great lunch..cheap too!

Anyone else? I am SICK of subway..and KFC in NY does not have the meatfree "chicken" they are testing in Canada.
