Good point about switching the order! And I want to go everywhere, too. I need to add Australia, Greece, Japan, China, Alaska, Italy... You see where this is heading. Maybe I should pick up a Mega Millions ticket for tonight, because unless I win the lottery I have no chance of going most of these places.

This is hard!

1) Have a baby (or two or three!)
2) Take the honeymoon with my husband that we never had.
3) Own my dream home (and have it paid off!)
4) Wear a bathingsuit in public again.
5) Run a 5K
6) Go on a walking or cycling tour of Ireland.
7) Visit landmarks throughout Europe associated with famous composers (Mozart's birthplace, Beethoven's home, that sort of thing.)
8) Hike the Ala Kahakai in Hawaii!
9) Try kayaking
10) Visit every state in the US.

Here is my 10....

Own my own kennel / doggy day care business. (absolutely #1)

Remodel my kitchen and main bathroom - getting a jetted tub installed (ahh, yes -in the bathroom not the kitchen LOL)

Continue to work out and eat well - I am not focusing on a "get to weight" so much anymore but I will know it when I get there.

Cruise the Panama Canal.

Cruise Alaska with a 3-4 day land tour including Denali.

Visit the Great Wall of China

Parasail (1st steps - getting the GUTS to do it)

Go deep sea fishing AND CATCH SOMETHING (bigger than me!)

Buy a cottage/summer home on a lake

and lastly, but one that I know will be completed very shortly, run a 5K. The "bucket list" part will be to continue running them throughout the summer - and beyond - and just maybe move into 10K's.

Yes Alaska calls to me also...as does Vancouver and the whole western seaboard! I shake my head and STILL can't believe I've never been further west than Rochester, MN!

I would love to drive there but 3 months in the car with hubby???? Is there any marriage that could stand that? We have only been together 30+ years, we have survived kitchen, bathroom remodels, kids teenage years driving together for three months could be the breaking point.

That's why I want to drive! My grandparents drove out there one summer, spent 3 months on the road there and back and visited so many awesome places along the way and while there... I so want to do the same thing someday!

Things on my bucket list are some I am planning on doing this summer.

1. Sea kayaking
2. hike up to a glacier and spend the night
(I am doing both in a month in Alaska)
3. buy a summer home on a lake
4. run a marathon (I will probably never get to that but one can dream)
5. Take my mother to Hawaii
6. Learn to golf

I am sure there is more but that is all I can think about right now.

A member of another Team was feeling hurt over having others forgetting / overlooking celebrating his / her birthday. An idea I thought of was...:

It never hurts to have some ideas handy for celebrating, even if it's by yourself...! Sort of like that movie, The Bucket List...except, why wait till you're OLDER to make up your list...make it NOW and keep it on the fridge! A constant work in progress, keep adding ideas, crossing off things you've done.

Kayaking is on my list...have never done, am REALLY looking forward to finding / creating an opportunity to enjoy doing this.

Here's the rest of what I can think of for now:

My Bucket List (in no special order)

1. Travel throughout the western USA and Canada (I've never been further west than Rochester, MN!)
2. Hiking, kayaking, canoeing in many, many different special outdoor locales!
3. Learn to dance and get out to dance regularly!
4. Spending lots of time out on water in anything of a boat variety.
5. A Hot Air Balloon Ride would be so awesome!
6. Biking longer distances (not sure how long...just a fledgling here...lol)
7. Orchestrate a big, special trip for myself, friends and family to a special place.
8. Walk, bike, run, *MOVE* in a marathon...especially if its purpose is to make a statement either in support of a cause or to speak out against an injustice.

(I'll try to add more as I think of them)
