Yes it is a nice supportive group with awesome people and a part of my daily routine...
Being a team leader may not be alot of work, but it is definately more. I am sure it can be useful to motivate the leader, just the knowledge that folks are depending on you to set monthly and Daily challenges and just maintaining things can be enough to keep you on track!
And then the management skills of dealing with "jump to conclusion" members!
So thanks for leading this team - they say absence makes the heart grow fonder!!
The team is successful because of the members! I could post all I want but you guys are what make the team great. I'm lucky to have had so many great members join and be active and make the group awesome.
You don't have to be the team leader, I just wanted to give you guys the ability to make team goals, etc. if you all want to and I'm not around to do it. There really isn't much more to do than that! Except be active, which you do anyways, leader status or not.
No need to panic! The group isn't going anywhere! You guys are doing great and hopefully I'll be able to post more soon.

I say we go ahead and do July as nurseg suggested then make a decision about starting another team then.
SO... I am in for the 5 inches in July. Also shooting for "ped steps". Just as an example for those trying to figure out a good step goal. I wore mine all day yesterday - other than normal daily walking I walked for 30 min at lunch about 1.6 miles and I practiced softball for about 40 min. I had 12346 steps for yesterday. So if you do more, less or about that you can set your "goal" accordingly. I think I am going to shoot for 12,000/day. If "they" say you should get 10,000/day I want to do a little better than what "they" say. ha ha always got to do one better I guess.

Perhaps there ought to be more than one SparkTeam leader so that these sort of things wouldn't fall on one person's shoulders alone. A second person would also serve as back up when Kayla isn't available.

I am wondering how we can keep tracking team goals next month.
Looks like we want one team goal to be for losing inches - 5 in July? Without Kayla, we won't be able to track it here but maybe we can just keep a running thread like we do for June fitness. We could measure weekly and report our numbers.
Also, shall we try for a pedometer challenge? I am looking for mine now and I would love to start using it. Maybe we could set our individual step goals and the challenge would be to use the pedometer and journal our steps everyday, along with our calories.
