Hi everyone - this probably wasn't the best "title" but it got you here...
On another thread I wrote that the JC YMCA has body fat analysis for $25 (non-members). It should give you a more accurate reading than some of the "calculators" that you can do on-line. But Also- every year at the spiedie fest (see I got to it eventually) UHS sets up a tent and does a whole bunch of stuff FREE.. BP, sugar, cholesterol, etc...I always get my cholesterol checked there. It is not perfect because that type of test s/b done after fasting and who does that at the spiedie fest!!!! but I have never been close to a number that would cause concern but if it was then I could have my Doc schedule a true test. Especially if no one has ever had it done it is great to get an idea of where you are at.
I just wanted to throw that out there and if if anyone else knows of free or cheap medical/health info, share it here.
