I admit the videos on here are not real convenient - I have a desk top PC and no room to do the exercises where the PC is at - but it gives me great ideas. I have a hard tme fitting in "regualr" exercise - like today when I was palying w/the dogs outside I was doiing walking lunges across the yard - every little bit helps - right. Might look a little goofy to the neighbors - but my legs are looking better right! LOL

I have a few Women's Fitness videos that I liked starting out b/c they were a good way to incorporate the circuit training. I seriously have so many that people could borrow -- from dance, to circuit training, to step, etc. I figured the more variety the less chance of getting bored. I do like the balance ball and medicine ball workouts as well as the ones the circuit training ones. I like the circuit ones b/c they do mix things up so I don't feel like I'm doing repetition after repetition of the same thing. But the ones I love most are the abs ones b/c that's my favorite kind of work out -- I save them for last as a "reward" hahaha I like the burning -- it feels good. lol (Hey -- We all have our masochistic side about something lol)

But yeah, if there's one in particular that you've thought about trying and I have it, I can let you know a little about it -- or put it on and then turn on my web cam for a bit so you can see it and see if you like it. haha The clips on youtube and collage only so show much. lol

Kobe, sometimes I check out the videos on this site if I want to try to find some new movies, but I haven't seen very many that were that worthwhile yet -- will have to keep searching. But, for me, I don't like to watch them on my laptop b/c it's too much of a distraction for me -- I'd be tempted to stop to check my mail or to check spark or any number of other things. Since I don't watch tv much, the workout dvds have been working better for me b/c I don't get distracted with wanting to do other things. hahaha :-D

I have a million workout dvds... when I get more time I would be happy to post a list with my mini reviews :) my favorites are tae bo, walk away the pounds, richard simmons and i have some BL/Jillian ones as well.....

If hunger is not the problem, then eating is not the solution.

I like the Firm videos and also Tae Bo. Both work your entire body.

I have a couple of Jillian's biggest loser DVDs and I have to tell you I got my butt kicked and haven't made good use of them. I think if I had someone to do them with I would make better use of them. I do use the 10 minute solutions videos and love them because you can mix and match routines. My fav. is the fat blasting dance. Anyone can borrow them if you want to give em a try. Let me know.

if those dvd's are anything like she works the people on BL - be ready to get your butt kicked - in a good way. tough but good on the show anyway

I've actually not seen any of the biggest loser shows, but I'm willing to give her video a try. I did see some Biggest Loser workout vids and wondered if they were any good but haven't previewed any of those yet.

I just got into the Biggest Loser this past season and I love to hate Jillian. I have never tried any of their videos though.

I just finished previewing the video, and I was thinking about starting Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred in the next few days (maybe beginning next week if not sooner). Just wondering if anyone else has it or has tried it and would like to give some feedback.

Or if anyone has been thinking about trying it and might want to try it "with" someone and can check in somewhat regularly to help keep me motivated as well. :-D

That's a great idea... I've thought about checking out vids from the library, but I wasn't sure about their selection and if they mostly had just older stuff that people had donated or had some of the newer programs too. Guess I'll have to check it out afterall. Thanks! :-D

The fitness DVDs come in handy for our rainy days. I love to walk outdoors but am always stumped for things to do when it is raining, as I don't have a gym membership right now. I do have a treadmill but that sure gets boring.

I am a big fan of the Binghamton Public library and want to check out their exercise video selection. You only get a week, but that is enough to know if you like and want to buy it or something else by the same instructor.

Hiya!

Just thought maybe this would be a good topic. I know I have some extra work out DVDs (mostly because I go through phases where I'll buy them on eBay as a lot) that I would be willing to let people borrow/swap with others, and I thought it would be a good topic/post to get some reviews going about them. What we liked/didn't like. And, maybe if some of us have some of the same ones (like Tae Bo or Turbo Jam, etc.), we can kind of set a goal to do them "together" -- meaning we can start with one and agree to do it so many times per week or something and then maybe move on to another one after a few weeks or a month or so. Let me know what you guys think...
