I find myself buying most of my wines on line. JJBuckley.com ; wine.com ; lastbottle.com; WTSO.com (wine till sold out). If I buy in a store it is usually COSTCO.

I live in a state that wine distributors cannot ship to, so my only option is our local market or the once a month trip (48 miles) to the big grocery store or Wal-Mart. I have really been liking Bogle Petite Sirah lately, and Yellow Tail Shiraz is always a good standby.

I have been getting most of my wine from "Naked Wines." They come from newer wine makers and are absolutely wonderful. Last night I had JC van STADEN Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Lodi, California. It was one of the better cabs I've had in awhile.

Hey guys........
There is a new, unique Wine Bar and Tasting Room in Clinton Township at Partridge Creek Mall on Hall Road about 2 miles west of I-94. They have over 70 bottles of wine to taste by the glass. 40 of those wines you can taste a sample as little as 1.5 oz.! Great, inexpensive way to enjoy different wines at one place. They also have some "small plates", salads and sandwiches that you can choose from to accompany your wine. Best of all, you can buy a bottle of any of the wines, right there at the wine bar!

I have been getting my wine from Naked Wines. I found them after I bought a wine cooler for my Lake house. http://us.nakedwines.com/. They consist of new wine makers who don't have a lot of money to advertise, thereby selling their wine at reasonable prices.

Trader Joes!

I love that I can buy $5 bottles of wine of decent quality. I usually ask whoever is working in the liquor department what the best cheap wines are at the time and they're happy to share a taste or suggest wines.

In Canada we have government liquor stores. There are private wine and beer stores but you pay an upcharge. Supermarkets and such are not allowed to sell liquor.

Trader Joes. They have this awesome blend for only five dollars. I can't recall who makes it but it is delicious and cheap. When things are really tight I lower myself to two buck chuck. I live a good expensive Rioja but I am too broke for now.

Do you have a favorite wine shop, grocery store, big box discount store where you buy most of your wine? Do you buy on line, or direct from the winery?

My purchases over the past year have been about 50% "on line" from value email announcemnts. Some of my favorite offers come from "wine.com" and "WTSO.com" (WTSO stands for Wine Till Sold Out). Often, shipping and/or sales tax are at no cost.
