If your scale is off it should only be off by a few pounds. If your using it instead of a bathroom scale (like I do) I just go with it.
If your scale is really off, it may be because you don't have the covers (the little circular 'caps' on the bottom) on correctly. When I weigh myself on the carpet, without these covers I always weigh about 40 pounds less than I really do! lol.
I have mine on a board on top of our carpet. It gives the same weight as our regular scale on the kitchen floor, so I've always thought it to be accurate. I haven't weighed myself twice, though! Now I'm curious what weights it'll give me...

What I don't like is the wii scale is not always the same. Like once it said I gained 7.6 pounds in a 24 hour period I said that can't be right. So I did it again and it said I had lost 1.5 from the orginal weight. Then I tried one more time and got tha tI had lost 2.5. that day I just took the average.
I normally wear the same tyep clothing a pair of cotton shorts and a sport bra when I weigh in and work out so that clothing is not changing it.
I've been using wii even to weight luggage beforeflying (to make sure I don't exceed limits) and it has always been accurate on that. Yes, there are ups and downs, but that's not scale at fault I think.
And yes, it does get very inaccurate if I place it on a carpet.

I thought it was just me. I mean i really beat myself up cause i thought that i had gain weight. I normally weigh in on Wed &Sat. I eat healthy but yesterday i gain like 1.8lbs and i know that wasnt right so when i weigh in on sat i will using another scale
Always treat people the way you want to be treated.
Mine seems to weigh me about 3 lbs lighter than my bathroom scale, but I don't use them both every day (only the Wii). It seems to be showing a reasonable trend (both up and down), based on what I do and how I eat.
My balance board is on fairly thick carpet with a pad (extenders on).
Mine is also only 2 pounds different than my bathroom scales .... I weigh myself daily on the bathroom scales before heading to the gym and then on weekends I weigh myself as well on the Wii before I start my weekend workout programs. I wonder if there is somewhere on either of the units to reset the scale, or within the system? Might be worth looking into so you can make sure it's accurate and feel better about it.
Mine is only off by 3 lbs. However, I way on the Wii in the evening while I only weigh on my bathroom scale on Thursday mornings with nothing on, so it seems like the Wii scale is right. Mine is also on a carpet.

I weight myself, shoes off, every morning. My clothes are very light, so I take that into account as well. It always says the same thing, 211 lbs. I couldn't understand why I wasn't losing weight- good diet, 30 mins cardio and strength training m-f at the gym, and then 2 hours on the wii at home as well.. I was weighed by a professional trainer at the gym this morning, and it said 186.
Is anyone else having problems with their scale being off? Mine does sit on carpet but that's a huge difference.
