I am walking an hour a day, and no flare-ups. I have also heard that exercise is good, may break up the crystals. Personally, I think it is just sugar of all kinds, and not exercise.

I walked every day last week and the week before. This week began with a workout followed by a gout flare up? I have looked around the web quite a bit and wondered if anyone here could tell me. Is there any evidence that the workout itself could have caused the flare up?
