Funny I was just thinking how badly I need a nap. I'll just finish here on Sparkpeople and then take a snooze! AWESOME CHALLENGE! Thank you Thank you.

I took a nap because I literally couldn't keep my eyes open! After dinner the kids and I going to watch a movie together. Then, I am planning to go to bed at 10pm, which is 2 hours earlier than usual (although this is less of a me resting thing and more a me trying to establish a good sleep pattern thing)!

Instead of taking a nap (otherwise I won't sleep) I plan on turning off all technology (no tv, no radio, no computer, no phone, etc) and curling up in bed and reading my book.
I will make an effort to go to sleep earlier tonight!

Will definitely be taking a nap this afternoon as new puppy is running me ragged. His new game is to run the length of the house to where I have it blockaded, then whine until I pick him up and put him back at the start, then do the whole thing over again. I really need to get a pedometer as I must be getting some extra exercise out of this - his record is 20 times in a row before he poops out!!

I just got home from Church and I will take a 30 minute nap before making a few more phone calls about delivering Avon tomorrow, then going to mothers to watch Nascar race at 3 pm. Blessings. Joan

Oh, I'm all over this one. I have a lot of trouble with insomnia, so naps are big with me. It didn't help me to force myself to stay awake so I'd sleep at night, so now I grab sleep where I can.
It's just noon but I've already had a nap. See I woke up at 3:15 this morning. So, my challenge is complete!

This is a tough one for me and I don't know why. I always get anxious before going to bed, and feel guilty taking a nap. Must be some demons in there.
Okay, I'll work on this today, maybe write it out, look for some insights. THANKS for the challenge!
With love and joy, Kelly

OMG I knew I loved this team! I am doing something out of the ordinary and going to the gym on a Sunday morning. You won't have to tell me twice to take a nap. It'll be fairly guilt free since my housework is done.

I can get behind this one. I bought a new pillow yesterday and it's awful. I slept fitfully and woke with a headache and sore neck. So guess who's taking a nap after returning the pillow.

I slept in until almost 6:00 which is good for me, love my early mornings with coffee in front of my computer reading the news. but it felt good under those covers this morning, girls get away so I am driving a few hours, but then just fun and relaxation. Have a great day.

I slept in until 7:30. It's hard getting a late start to my day, but worth it to get the rest.

Great idea. Normally we're in church on Sunday morning but we both have head colds and coughs, so it will be a great day to get some extra rest and fluids and to get well!! Thanks for reminding us to take time to rest our bodies!

Much as I would love to do as you suggested on Sundays I drive my dh to church, wait for him until church finished, I know a lot of people there and I always have someone to chat with. After church we go out to the Bistro for Brunch. Then I drive dh home, I drop him off, I have an hour free, then I have to go to work until 3:00 pm. Get home by 3:30 pm only to have to start getting supper ready. Not much of a restful day unfortunately. I am still trying to leave on day a week free. I may just accomplish that soon. My dh will be going to a day program every Friday and I am going to make a great effort to always keep Friday's free as my rest day.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday and that you all get a rest day. Bye for now

Happy Sunday to you!
Your challenge today is to REST YOUR BODY. How about:
*Sleeping in *Taking a nap *Putting in a movie and resting with friends/family on the couch *Going to bed early
Did you know that many of us turn to food when our body actually needs more sleep. When was the last time you got 8 or more hours of sleep during the night? That's something to consider as you look towards your weight loss goal.
Have a RESTED AND RELISHING IN RELAXATION Sunday!
