I am more motivated, but I am still counting on others because without it I do not see how I can think positively about myself and I also do not seem to stop the anxiety on my own yet.

I try to be motivated. There are a bunch of times that I get frustrated and anxious. I still need to count on others to help me. I am going to college and when this happens even though I know some of what I should not eat I feel that I need to because of the amount of time I am at school. Without help I will eat 15 servings of this type of food throughout the school day. This does not include at least 3 20 0z bottles of either diet pepsi, diet mountain dew, or pepsi max.

My biggest challenge is sticking to my goals long term. I get excited at first and then things drop off. I started Curves last night, and so having to keep appointments for the next month will keep me accountable!

My "feelings" of motivation come and go...but on the days I am the most frustrated, I focus on what I've accomplished so far, read SP motivational articles, and write in my journal.

I still get frustrated with motivation. I suffer from manic depression which brings down my motivation to nill. I have found the Sparks assists with motivation, but I still fall short at times.

I used to get frustrated because I lost momentum in so many goal areas: weight loss, decluttering, fitness. Now, thanks to SP, I get the motivation I had not found elsewhere.

emoticon Good Luck to all on your goals!!

I would love to lose about 20 pounds by my birthday (August 9th). I keep trying but haven't made much headway this year (well, to be honest, really NONE!). I keep stopping and starting up again. Motivation is a really big issue for me, on top of the fact that I hate exercising. I'm hoping to find something I can really stick with since overall health is a long-term goal (father was diagnosed with type II diabetes in late 50's...don't want that to look forward to).

Good Luck. I know you can do it. You have time, don't throw in the towel, just get up, dust yourself off and try harder.

I'd like to loose about 20-25 lbs by our family vacation to Ocean City, MD in August. Was doing really well...lost 15 lbs between January and April, but seem to have hit a plateau...getting a little frustrated but now enough to throw in the towel.

- Keep moving forward! Jen
