The sound system in my gym is so bad that I'm not sure about the Zumba version, but I've always thought that it was imitators.

I just think of the real lyrics anyhow, since that song has been around for almost a decade... the "motherfvcker" lyric was already burned into my brain.

Does anybody else have a playlist of songs that have "fuego" in the title? You could teach a whole Zumba class just using music with fire references.

That is so funny.!! I always thought they were singing "let the Hippy trailers burn" and felt sorry for those poor Hippys! Thanks so much for the clarification. I can sing along now.

Those lyrics are not what is on the ZIN CD. I've been trying to figure it out too! Drives me nuts! lol. We did a big group exercise using that song in the training, and I'm so used to "mother f&*^&*^ burn" and what they actually say on the ZIN version is not even close to that! I swear I picked up the word "hippie" in there.....

Now I'm gonna listen to it til I figure it out, dang it!

hey everbody!
I have a question:
You know the popular Zumba song "Fuego" (cumbia by Kumbia Kings, I believe)?

What does he say after "fuego, fuego, the roof is on fire! Fuego, fuego, let the ??? burn!"???

No one in our class can figure out what he's saying!!! And it drives me crazy, because I'm using this song in my playlist and listen to it multiple times a day while practicing, driving, etc!!!!!!!
Let WHAT burn???????!!!! emoticon
