Okay this is going to sound weird, but I lifeguard and we often have a lady come into do aqua zumba classes, and she usually plays this song, but it has been bugging me trying to find it!

The song is in Spanish i think, but at the beginning it kind of sounds like a phonecall, and a womans voice speaking (in spanish) and the chorus sounds like "where mi abbio, where me abbio" or something, and it also has a rap part somewhere in the middle. its not as upbeat and fast as other zumba songs, but i have been dying to find it because i like the song so much!
cheers

emoticon You are correct, that 'is not much info,' and I have no idea. Maybe someone else will be able to provide you the name of the song. If not, just ask your instructor for the name of the song. Good Luck!

Could you, please, help me to find the song? =) It's in Spanish, the lady is singing with high voice, all the words I remember - ooooh mi amor... (and the instructor showed a heart with her fingers) [then sth else], ooooh corazon
I know that is not much info but probably you know =) Thanks in advance!

My classes have their old favorites: El Pollo, She Got a Donk and Rump Shaker. They lose their minds when I play one of those! My new personal favorite to teach is Metela Sacala. When I go to class, I love to hear Fuego by Don Omar and Pitbull.

Hi guys, I've been looking for two songs: One is an upbeat i guess salsa song...since i believe it says stuff like 'salsa con crete' or maybe 'salsa complet' a lot...trumpet, some 'hey hey!'s

and one is a cooldown song, that says 'mio mio mio' a lot

I recently spent a long time looking for the song 'Mirame' by Los super reyes and K-Liber 4 Life- Balans, also Gimmie Five - Zumba Fitness, La Mujer del pelotero, ojos asi, pa que lo balien bien, arremangala arrempujala, el amor el amor, danza kuduro, ai se eu te pego!

Hey, does anyone know a Spanish cool-down song that goes "Amor amor amor ________" and has a trumpet in it? It's a male singing, it stays the same speed all the way through... but there is an interlude where a bit of guitar kicks in...

I honestly don't know anything else but it's not "El Amor, El Amor" or "Corazoncito Bonito Con Letras"

Please help me find this song!! Thanks :)

I FOUND THE SONG!!!!!!!

So bachi bachi wasn't the lyrics AT ALL, I just couldn't understand what the heck the singer was saying. He also mentions hot tamale and jabberwocky. :)

It's "Back It Up" by Double C - highly recommended song!

SoundHound has been awesome at identifying songs that I would like to add to my personal 'Zumbalicious' playlist on Google Music. My current faves: Volvi a Nacer by Carlos Vives (Cumbia version), Follow the Leader by J-Lo (I got to lead the class on that one :-) ), Somos de Calle by KLC Cave Cubana, and Meto Mano by Amarfis y La Banda De Attake (really fun song). Oh...and Baile Privado by Prophex for cool down.

Hi all!

Can someone please help me figure out the name of a popular Zumba song? It's driving me crazy.

It's like..

Bachi, bachi oh
Kashi, kashi oh

And then there's a part that goes:

Shake it, shake it
..

Then another part that goes:
Front, back, side to side

Many thanks!

More of a question than a favorite song, was wondering if anyone knew a song that starts out, I believe, "I go hard"' it repeats that a few times and we do double punches then a speed bag before a different tempo starts up...I think it's an older song, as in older tha the two years of me doing zumba...

There's a song I do at Zumba that I can't find anywhere on YouTube or iTunes, the only words I can make out it at the beginning it says "shake shake shake" and I think it says la vida loca and boom boom boom. I know this doesn't make sense lol but the song is in Spanish.

It's hard to make out - it doesn't sound familiar to me. Have you asked the instructor?

I need help finding this song!
It's a newer song, to our class at least. It sounds kind of Indian maybe? The main part is kind of like "aye oh, na na na na na na na na na". It's really catchy & really fun!

My favorite warm up song is Waka Waka (Time for Africa) by Shakira. I should ask my Zumba instructor/friend if she could share her Playlist for classes! I always want to listen to them at home and don't know how to find them. It's hard not knowing titles or artists of the songs!

Was the question about playlists meant for instructors? I personally just started teaching once a week 2 months ago. I kept the playlist the same for the 1st 4 weeks to get the students familiar with my songs. Then I swapped 4 songs at once. I kept it that way for the next 2 weeks and now only change 1 or 2 songs per class, sometimes with a new song, sometimes with one we just did. Because my students are still not too familiar with my songs, I don't want to mix it up too much. The instructors that I take class from, make new playlists every class they teach. They keep the newest songs for about 4-6 weeks, bring in 1-2 new songs nearly every week, and switch the rest with old songs the class has done in the past.

As for ordering the songs, I try to mix up the rhythms so we're not doing 2 salsas in a row (for example), as well as varying the level of intensity of each song. For example, I'll have 2 warm up songs and the 3rd will be high intensity. The 4th will be a low intensity and the 5th will be middle. Then I bring it up again.

I always have my playlist prepared ahead of time. But I know of some instructors who build theirs during class either when they see which students have arrived, or after each song, they search their music for the next one.

Was this what you were asking about?

I have a question about playlists. How often do you change your playlists and how do you organize them on your ipod or iphone...whatever you may use?

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!

I've been desperately searching for a certain track for a while - it starts with a saxophone followed by two heavy drumbeats and this comes back at different parts of the song...at one point the male rapper says "get loose for me" and some recurring lyrics are "muevete" and "sueltete", thanks everyone :D

Hey, I'm looking for a song: it's got deep male vocals and starts with a bongo drumbeat, and half way through there's a sort of rap and I'm pretty sure some of it goes 'something something move your feet, now shake your hips and take a chance and shake with the Zumba dance'? It's quite Salsa-y, with an accordion or something similar playing and interjections of 'ah-aheyy'... Help, if you can!

Hello fellow zumba enthusiasts,
I am new to this sparkTeam, and I already love it! I often have so many song requests and I feel like this is a good place to start.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a fun and feisty warm-up. I'm getting bored to say the least! My ladies are too..not good.

Hi, I'm looking for a song that is very fast and starts with something like "rice, ice, mice". It is very energetic, but there are also some "stops" in the song where we have to freeze for a moment. Sounds like hip hop.

I teach this class for those who have Multiple Sclerosis initially. They really like when I added the seated Zumba Fitness option (this isn't Sentao, if you know what that specialty is...)

Here's the description:
This specialty class is for those new to yoga and dance fitness, people seeking stress reduction, elderly, disabled, pregnancy and those in recovery from illness, injury or surgery, overweight or workers who sit at a desk all day! People of all ages and walks of life with arthritis, fibromyalgia, MS, chronic pain are able to participate.

While seated on chairs, students can do versions of twists, hip stretches, forward bends, and mild backbends. In addition to a good stretch, chair participants can also enjoy other health benefits of seated exercise, including improved muscle tone, better breathing habits, reduction of stress, better sleep, and a sense of well-being. Great for all ages and body

I types, including seniors and those struggling with hip, knee, and other types of joint pain.
