I made a healthier version of stuffed french toast and it was very yummy. I took Sara Lee Delightful Wheat Bread Spread 1 oz. F/F cream cheese on once slice, sandwiched it with another slice (made 4 sandwiches). Placed in a greased pan, mixed 2 eggs and 1/2 cup skim milk, poured over bread. Let sit for 10 minutes to absorb liquid. Baked at 400 for 10 minutes covered with foil and removed foil and baked another 20 minutes. Toped with sliced, fresh strawberries. It was quite a treat and fairly healthy!
Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!

I alternate breakfasts to keep things interesting, but my favorite is:
3/4 C. Western Family Bran Flakes 1/3 C. non-fat milk
(I don't like soggy cereal,so I tend to use as little milk as needed.)
My alternates include:
1 C. mixed berries (Rader Farms from Costco) sweetened with Splenda 1 slice of whole grain toast w/1 T. Land O'Lakes light soft butter
or
An egg scramble made with:
1 extra large or jumbo egg 1 t. water 1 T. bell pepper, finely diced 1 mushroom, finely diced (as a treat I sometimes add 1 slice of Western Family American cheese)

Yes, there's much more involved. I guess to me it's so much about the chemicals, the fake "health". I want as few chemicals in our bodies as possible. It's also the long term that I'm thinking about, I don't want to be on any drugs when I'm older because my body can't handle things on it's own. Have you seen the study?

Congratulations ANNIE-JO on having such a healthy family. You guys must be doing something right...LOL. I have taken vitamins regularly for over 40 years, and I have given them faithfully to my two sons since they were babies. We are never sick either, however, I think there is more to whether one gets sick or does not get sick than just whether one takes vitamins or not, don't you?

Have you read the latest study on vitamins? My family stopped taking them several years ago, and we are rarely sick, once or twice a year, and then for about a day. My daughter was just sick yesterday, the first time this year, for about 6 hours.
