I had trouble getting in and out and found that as long as I keep my body low and basically do a squat as I get in and out, all is well. Have certainly splashed around a few times. Happy to be fit enough to survive the spill though (-: It's the little things....

Hey, we are leaderless. Have you noticed. Anyone want to be it?

I've done that! :-)

I end up turning over onto my knees once I'm on the shore enough for my kayak to stay somewhat steady and step out. It works for me most times. You'll be a pro in no time:-)

Well I put my new fishing kayak into the water, without checking out how to properly get into and out of a kayak. Needless to say I fell into the lake which was hilarious. After watching youtube videos on how to properly do it I managed to get out and practice my stroke and by the end of my three day stay at lake was getting pretty good. Back at it again this weekend.
