There's nothing wrong with using the word "diet". It comes from the Greek word "diaita", meaning way of life. So to lose weight and keep it off we need to change our way of life.

I walked but not nearly enough-- maybe half a mile. But Sunday is my "day off" from that kind of stuff and I put in enough time cooking and cleaning and walking and what not since last Wednesday that I deserved a day off so I'm not even going to feel guilty.

Sundays are my rest day. I started a walking program last Monday and will be going to it tomorrow. So when finished I will come back and post about it.

I walked for 4 miles and did some strength training. Then I had some heated pecan pie with ice cream....

Today I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes and rode my bike for another 17.
After such a hard workout yesterday I was in that mindset of wanting to "give myself a break" (I am a pushover for giving myself a break, let me tell you) but I am very happy that I just did it.
