Interesting! Now, I take 10,000 IU's of Vitamin D a day, and 500 IU's of magnesium a day too. I just added zinc and B-vitamins. I take a little apothacary of vitamins and supplements. I didn't used to believe in them, but now I think there could be something to it.
I've always had the horrible tendency to eat too much. Right now, I eat very well, but just too darned much!! It's so hard to stop with just a little salad and a slab of fish, so I end up having probably triple the food serving sizes I need.
I'm also not sure my hormones are right, so I'm always trying to balance those out. Of course, things change through the course of a month...some days that are closer to my period...I just start feeling exhausted and hence, pig out more to get the energy back. This time, I slept extra and took more vitamins and I think it's helped a bit.
I'm really bad in social situations. I'm introverted, and I notice that when I'm hanging out with friends I just want to nibble and nibble, vs. focusing on the conversation or social situation. Uggg. And don't get me started on restaurants.
So for me right now, portion sizes are a huge challenge. 1/2 the day is totally under control, and then it goes downhill later. My weight hasn't budged despite a lot of exercise.
The bloating is getting a little better, but it's really weird. I really do get weirdly distended.
I'm giving the Tosca Reno "Clean Eating" plan a try this week...cooler and all. We'll see!
