Don't have a bike yet, but waiting for a phone call that I can pick up the BIKE OF MY DREAMS: It is a 7-speed, Biria Easy Boarding model with a 40 cm frame. This was orginally a Dutch Ladies' Commuting bike, and could easily be worn with long skirts.

When I was a kid I practically lived on my bike! Recently I was trying to find a exercise thart I enjoy and decided to try biking! I love it but not as good at it at 50 as I was at 10. I get my mail and go to the library with my bike! I go on rides through our local parks and out in the country to visit one of my friends! I go 3.5-5 miles at a time so far but I hope to increase that soon.
When I was younger, I biked everywhere. You can see things and smell things that you can't from a car. Biking IS fun! I so long to be able to get back on a bike and peddle for hours. Right now, it's hard for me to just get down to the next block. But, I'm determined to get there.

The creator of this team called Slow Riders posted the mission statement for the team in a sticky topic but is buried under the many replies. I will post it again to serve as a reminder.
