My goals

1. Daily vitamins
2. 8 glasses of water
3. 45 mins/day at gym 5 days/week
4. Actually eat breakfast, lunch and dinner
5. Read 30 mins/ day
6. 15 mins of streak training per day

The only difference between a bad day and a good day, is your attitude!

My goals for the remainder of September are:

1. Continue weight training consistently 2x/wk
2. Continue training for my 2nd 5K
3. Track my food on SP
4. Take my vitamins daily

My goals for the month of September are the following

1) Spark every morning, keep track of everything.
2) Walk for at least 45 minutes 5 times a week.
3) set up a daily schedule and stick with it.
4) remember to take my vitamins every day.

Okay I have to up my game...I have a wedding next month, along with...no lo puedo creer! My birthday-the big 3-0! So I want to look ba-va-boom! So I have to work out at least 5-6 times a week. That's my goal for this month. So that means work out for the 24 out of the 30 days this month!

I really don't care about impressing anyone, but I want to buy me a pretty-pretty dress. Plus why not? right?

So far I have set 3 fitness goals for April.

1. Remember to use my heart rate monitor for every exercise. so I can keep track of calories burn.

2. I am committed to do Jillian's Michael 30 day Shred dvd (5x a week). It's been a week and so far I feel great.

3. In addition to Jillian's workout, I have decided to power walk for 1/2 hr(6x a week).

I HAVE to loose the x-tra fat

When it comes to my health and weight I set short term goals. Which I've been able to achieve so far-with the exception of this week! ugh!

But yea I've always had goals since I was a kid. I was a little nerdy kid, so my goals were always scholastic: make the honor roll, dean's list,read so many books during the summer.

As an adult still the same, my education is a goal/dream which I am achieving. My writing is the same. I think goals are what build character, even when it comes to dating I can't date anyone that doesn't have any goals. It's a total turn-off.

My two ultimate goals are: Achieving a healthier lifestyle and going forward with my education.

mis metas no an variado mucho desde el principio..
-las metas a cortoplazo las he alcanzado
tomar mas de 64onz agua daily
desayunar a diario
y otras que son faciles de lograr...

-mis metas a mediano plazo es correr mi primer 5k
(estoy entrenandome para correrlo el 25 de abril)
otro meta a mediano plazo es estar pesando para esa fecha 160 lbs o menos.

-mi meta a largo plazo es haber llegado a mi peso a fin de aņo
correr mi primer 10k en feb/marzo de 2010...

Yo si creo en establecer goals y premiarme cada vez que los alcanzo...
de esa manera me mantengo enfocada y con una meta definida...

En el libro de spark

There are no right or wrong answers here!

It's a topic that has come up for me lately in several conversations, with several different people, from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. so I was curious to everyones take on "Goals"

As a Latina who grew up in the Hood, my only Goal was to make it out ALIVE!
As a community Activist I learned to set Goals and to set a plan in place to achieve those goals.

When I speak with my caucasian friends-Goals seem to b a part of their lives from the start.
Not that, that should make it right or wrong.
I'm just sayin!
