Just click on my page (look at where I responded and you'll see a button that will get you to my page). No secret, that's for sure. Proper exercise, rest and nutrition.

Thanks for your response. I need to call my doctor. I ran out of Lipitor a week ago and now don't even want to refill it. I noticed your weight loss. If you have time can you tell me how you did it. I was doing intermittent fasting which finally was giving me some success. Went on a vacation and ever since have been struggling. Your weight loss is fantastic.

Not only is there a connection between statins and blood sugar but here's more. " . . . the use of statins appears to be associated with an increased risk for musculoskeletal injuries, including an increased risk for dislocations, strains, and sprains.[15]" . . . from Medscapes Medical News for 2013

Best advice . . . talk about it with your Dr. Make sure you're approaching the problem from the nutrition and exercise angle with commitment. That is a huge help with the blood sugar too.

Morning! I wondered if anyone has any thoughts on the connection between statins and diabetes. I have recently been reading that certain statins can increase the risk of developing blood sugar problems. I have been on Lipitor for about 6 years and my blood sugar has been steadily rising. Not sure if there is a connection but was curious what others' think. Thanks!
