I would love to take a class but I will be out of town for awhile helping my daughter and her family move from Grand Junction, CO to Saltsburg, PA. The reason I like the infomercial is because I can Zumba at home, because I'm not coordinated and would look like a goof!... Lol
I've seen the infomercial as well. It looks like fun but I would rather do it with a group of people. I've good things about the classes and I know South Suburban rec centers offer classes. I was actually looking at trying out a class on the Sunday after Memorial weekend at Goodson rec.

Zumba is cardio and isn't going to give anyone a six-pack. If you already have a six-pack but it's buried in fat than Zumba might help uncover it LOL I think the biggest thing that Zumba has going for it is that it's fun. A lot of things we do for cardio aren't exactly fun. If you like dancing then Zumba would be a great choice. Personally I feel like a total dork the whole time because of my total lack of coordination but I know several people that LOVE it.
I haven't bought the DVD, but have been to a Zumba class and I would be shocked that it would give anyone a 6-pack. BUT it's a great cardiovascular exercise! It was fun (if you like to dance) and I did feel like I worked pretty hard after 60 mins. I know that they offer this class at my gym (Club USA on Wadsworth) and I do have free guest passes...if you would like to try it out, I can get a pass to you or take it with you!
I was watching TV last night and saw this commercial about Zumba. Has anyone ever purchased it or use it? I get so bored with everything I get and wonder does all that dancing really give you a six-pack!
